3 Attempts

2 Rep Max Clean and Jerk 

*20 sec time limit for each attempt
*Start from a prone position

(6 min time cap)

Workout Standards

An attempt starts with the athlete in the prone position perpendicular to the bar (like a bar facing burpee). On the count of 3,2,1 Go! The athlete will get up and perform 2 reps of the clean and jerk. If the 2nd rep is not locked out by the end of 20 sec, the attempt does not count. 3 Attempts are allowed with in a 6 min time cap, the heaviest successful lift is counted as the athletes score.

Movement standards
Clean and Jerk

-        The bar must start on the floor and be lifted to the shoulder in one continuous motion. A Power or squat variation may be used.

-        From the shoulder rack position the bar is lifted overhead and the rep is complete when the feet are together, knees, hip and arms are fully extended, and the bar is held with control. Split, push or power variations are acceptable.

    -     The bar may be dropped after the 1st rep or the                athlete may perform a tap and go into their
          second rep
