Workout Standards

CLEAN:
Athletes must load their own bar, with only one bar used for the workout. For the Clean the barbell begins on the ground and must be lifted to the shoulder position, with the knees and hips fully locked out and the feet in line with the body. Athletes can perform either a power or squat variation. No part of the body other than the feet may touch the ground during the repetition.

BURPEE:
Each burpee must be performed before jumping over the bar with the chest and thighs touching the ground at the bottom. Stepping back and / or stepping up is permitted. Athletes can perform the burpee facing the bar or alongside the box. The athletes head cannot be over the bar whilst at the bottom of the repetition.

The athlete must jump from both feet over the bar before starting the next rep on the other side of the bar. Stepping over the bar or one footed jumping is not permitted. There is no requirement to stand tall during the repetition.
