Beast of Berlin 2017 - Online Qualifier


1RM complex of

1 power clean + 1 hang squat clean + 1 jerk

Workout Standards

On 3.2.1 GO the athlete will load the desired weights onto the Barbell and start the lift with a Power Clean. The bar starts from the floor and the rep counts when the legs and hips are fully extended. Then the athlete will perform a Hang Squat Clean, for the rep to count the hip crease needs to below parallel and at the top position the hips and legs need to be fully extended. Finally a Jerk, finishing with the hips, legs and arms fully extended. Any style of Shoulder to Overhead is permitted. A Press, Push Press, Jerk or Split Jerk as long as the proper finish position is reached. The lift counts when all three movements are performed according to standard without putting the bar down. 

The athlete will have 5 minutes to perform a maximum of 5 Attempts to find a 1RM of the complex.
