Workout Standards

Before you start, please provide your name and surname.  All equipment used must be shown (measures, weights). The timer (clock) must be clearly visible during the whole length of the video. The camera must be set to clearly show your side view (profile) during the workout.  Your whole body must be visible throughout the length of the video. The recording should be in a good enough quality. . Every uncommon solution will be regarded as no-rep. The Athlete starts the workout on 3-2-1-GO.

Movement Standards:

WOD 2a

Clean and Jerk: The barbell begins on the ground. The barbell must make contact with the shoulders, such that the lift is in two distinct phases, the clean, and then the jerk. Snatching is not permitted. A shoulder press, push press, push jerk or split jerk may be used, as long as the elbow, shoulder, hips and knees are fully extended, and the bar finishes directly over the body with the feet in line. If the jerk is missed but brought back to the front rack, the Athlete may re-attempt the jerk from there without taking the barbell back to the floor.

 

WOD 2b

This workout begins from the standing position with the barbell on the floor and the athlete standing tall. The athlete must complete 9 thrusters and then 9 burpees over bar, on next round - 15 thrusters and 15 burpees over bar, finishing with 21 thrusters and 21 burpee over bar. Every second counts in this workout. This workout ends when the feet land on the other side of the bar on the final rep (if time cap is not reached). Time will be recorded in full seconds. If time cap is reached, Your score is total finished reps.

Burpee. While doing burpees, athlete’s chest and thighs have to make contact with the floor.. You must jump over the barbell from both feet and land on both feet. One-footed jumping or stepping over is not permitted. Full extension in top position of burpee is not necessary.

Thruster. This is a standard barbell thruster in which the barbell moves from the bottom of a front squat to full lockout overhead. In first movement the bar starts on the ground. No racks allowed. In every movement the hip crease must pass below the knees. A full squat clean into the thruster is allowed if the bar is on the ground. The barbell must come to a full lockout overhead with the hips, knees and arms fully extended, and the bar directly over the body.

 

In the Lithuanian Throwdown, athletes are given 4 days to perform the week's workout and submit their scores. Monday is the release date, and Thursday at 23:59 UTC/GMT +2 hours is the deadline. There are no exceptions to this deadline.

Every qualifier workouts will have separately score table online. For the first place in every workout you will get 1 point, for second place - 2 points etc. After qualifier workout 2 your points will be summed together. The lowest sum of points will get upper place.

IMPORTANT: For workout 2a and 2b  must be one video. All video submissions should be uncut and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can be clearly seen meeting the movement standards.
