Video Submission Standards 
Prior to starting, film the WALL BALL to be used load & height, BATTLE ROPE length can be seen clearly.  All video submissions should be uncut and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. A second person with a stopwatch or clock visible should be in the frame throughout the entire workout. Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can be clearly seen meeting the movement standards.

The marker height, Med ball weight must be shown clearly in the video before the WOD start. ( For seated athletes you must also show the length of the battle rope. 15 ft minimum each rope. and the height of the boxes)

  • If you think something on your video is not clear then we probably don't either. 
  • Educate your judge with the movement standard so they can call no rep.. because if they don't we will and you could be asked to resubmit. 

Workout Standards

With the clock started at 0:00 counting up,
At the call of 3,2,1 athlete will start set in front of the battle rope/skipping rope. the athlete will then complete 50 reps and then move on to the Sit up/ Box Dip and complete 50 reps. This will continue for reps 40,30,20 and 10. at completion of the last rep the Athlete will immediately move to the Med ball for completion of 150 reps of Wall balls. (Standard of height, weight and movement for the wall ball are listed below in the movement standards)
at completion of the final wall ball the athlete will note the time the med ball touches above the identified height. The Tie breaker for this workout will be the time you finish the last rep of "Annie" ( final sit up or Box dip)


Battle Rope: 
Length Must be  a minimum 15 feet long each side. rope must continuously move through entire rep and may not settle before wave of rope reaches end of rope. 1 left and 1 right arm swing will count as 1 rep ( 2-4-1) 

Box Dip: 
Athlete must set up between 2 boxes minimum height of 20 inches. The athlete will then slide clear of seat in chair and arms fully locked out over boxes, feet may be on floor. Athlete will then dip to a 90 degree bend with the shoulder and elbow at same height in the bottom of the dip, to complete the rep the athlete must then press out with arms to full extension and hands at hips, elbows locked out and hands and arms finishing directly under the shoulders.

(use of legs is not permitted during the dip and if WheelWOD Judges review video and think an athlete is using their legs it will be at our discretion to make or miss those reps. Read the section of the WheelWOD rules on sportsmanship and this should not be an issue)

Wall Ball:
Wall Ball starts in the athletes hands in a seated position. If an athlete needs to sit on box instead of chair. max height of box is 20 inches and must be shown in video.
Athlete will throw the ball with 2 limbs up to target line on wall. Wall ball must clear 9/7 ft according to your division. Ball must hit clearly over the identified marker. The marker height, ball weight must be shown clearly in the video before the WOD start.
