Aphrodite Games 2017 Online Qualifiers



15 Snatches E2MOM (every 2 mins on the minute)
0:00-2:00: 15 Snatch 40/25kg
2:00-4:00: 15 Snatch 45/30kg
4:00-6:00: 15 Snatch 50/35kg
6:00-8:00: 15 Snatch 55/40kg
8:00-10:00: 15 Snatch 60/45kg

Etc. Continuing in this pattern until failure

Workout Standards

 Barbell
 Collars
 Bumper plates
The athlete will have 2 minutes to complete the required 15 reps on the snatch (Starting at 40kg for men & 25kg for
women). If the athlete completes all the reps before the 2min cap, they will be awarded an additional 2minutes to
perform another 15 snatches at an increased load. The athlete will be allowed to increase the load of the barbell once
the 15 reps have been completed but MUST NOT begin the next set until the next 2minute interval begins. The athlete
will continue with this pattern, adding 5kg to the barbell every 2 minutes, until they can no longer complete the 15
repetitions of snatch within the target 2minute interval.
Scoring & Submission Deadline
For individuals: The athlete’s score will be the total number of repetitions completed up to their cut-off time.
For teams: Each of the 4 athletes will complete this workout as individuals and the team’s score will be the accumulated
total repetitions completed by all 4 athletes.
Submission deadline: Wednesday 21st June 23:59 (GMT+3 - Cyprus Time)
Prior to starting, film plates and barbell to be used so the loads can be seen clearly. All video submissions should be
uncut and unedited in order to accurately display the performance. A clock or timer with the running workout time
clearly visible should be in the frame throughout the entire workout. Shoot the video from an angle so all exercises can
be clearly seen meeting the movement standards.
