Workout Standards

Movement Standards:

Handstand Walk

The athlete must start with the hands (entire hand, including palm and fingers) behind the mark denoting the start of the segment being attempted. When kicking up, stepping across the line or landing with the hands on or over the line constitutes a no rep. Athletes must walk forward.
Set up a target of appropriate height for your division. The head must touch the target depth before returning to the finish position.
If the athlete comes down at any time, the athlete must restart from the last increment completed. Both hands, including palms and fingers, must touch the ground in front of the line marking the 5-foot section to earn credit for that distance. Each 5-foot section will count as 1 rep. Athletes must have both hands across the line and may not jump both hands over the line to finish a section.

In a pistol the athlete is required to remove one foot from the ground and while keeping that foot elevated in front of them lower into a single leg squat. The rep is counted when the athletes hip crease has gone below there knee crease and they have stood to extension. Athletes must not put there elevated food on the ground until they stood to extension. Athletes must then alternate feet for each rep.

For Elite athletes they must be holding a kettle bell in front of their chest before beginning the rep. Resting the kettle bell on the shoulder will not be permitted.

Every repetition of the handstand push up begins and ends at the top of a handstand, with the arms fully locked out, the heels in contact with the wall, the hips open and the body in line with the arms. At the bottom, the athlete's head makes contact with the ground. Kipping or strict are allowed. If the athletes feet fall off the wall during a rep, that rep will not be counted.
Athletes must clearly show the measurement before the clock starts on WOD proof. A box measuring 36 inches wide and 24 inches deep also must be marked on the floor in front of the wall where strict handstand push-ups will be performed.

Push Ups

A push up must begin with the athlete in a plank position. They must then lower their body to the ground where there chest meets the ground. They must then push back up to the top plank position in a straight line to lock out. Any form or worming or snaking the body to reach the top position will not be permitted.

Goblet Squat

In the Goblet Squat the athlete must hold a kettle bell in front of there chest. They must then pass through a full rang of motion where the hip crease is lower than the knee crease before standing to extension.
