Workout

For event 2.1, you will have 1’ to establish a max for the following Complex:

1 Clean

1 Front Squat

1 Shoulder To Overhead

You can start with the bar fully loaded and you are only allowed to do only one attempt within the minute.

 


Then after the first minute, for event 2.2, you will have 4’ to perform as many repetitions as possible of the following Complex:

1 Clean

1  Front Squat

1 Shoulder To Overhead

 


Remember one Complex is one repetition.

Elite/RX (Individuals and Teams):

Men 70kg / 155 lbs

Women 50kg / 110lbs

 


Scaled:

Men 35kg / 75lbs

Women 25kg / 55lbs

 


Masters 35+: Men 50kg / 110lbs

Women 35kg / 75lbs

 


Masters 40+:

Men 50kg / 110lbs

Women 35kg / 75lbs

Workout Standards

EQUIPMENT

Barbell and weights of appropriate weight for your division.

 

The complex must be performed with a barbell, and the plates must be secured with collars. This workout begins with the barbell on the floor and the athlete standing tall. After the call of “3, 2, 1 … go,” the athlete may perform 1 heavy complex. The athlete will only allowed to do 1 attempt. The athlete’s score for 2.1 will be the complex’s weight, in kilos (Kg).

After the first minute, 2.2 begins with the barbell on the floor and the athlete standing tall. The athlete may perform 1 Complex of 1 Clean, 1 Front Squat and 1 Shoulder to Overhead. The athlete will repeat this complex, until the 4-minute time-cap.  

The athlete’s score will be the total number of repetitions completed before the time-cap expires. Remember 1 complex equals 1 repetition. Athletes are allow to prepare two bars for this workout.
