Seated Division

CFT- CrossFit Total

For max total load:
1-rep-max Bench Press
1-rep-max Seated Deadlift
1-rep-max Shoulder Press

3 attempts at each lift in each 4-minute window.

Score will be total pounds totalled of heaviest of each lift.

Example:

1 RM bench press 200lbs
1 RM Deadlift 150lbs
1 RM Sh. Press 140lbs

Score to enter for CFT = 490lbs

Sinclair Scores will be calculated byt the judging crew after submission. In the tie breaker you will put weight & age.

 

Time cap: 21 minutes total

 

Workout Standards

Athletes will have a 4-minute window to perform each lift. Within that window the athlete may make up to 3 attempts. The athlete’s score will be the combined total of his or her heaviest successful lift at each station. Athlete may rest 3 minutes between each 4 minute window.

Score will be total pounds totalled of heaviest of each lift.

 

Shoulder Press

Bar may be taken from boxes or rack as long as the bar is free from contact and being completley supported byt the athlete before lift starts, any way the athlete gets the bar into position is ok.

The Athlete will establish control in the front rack position with bar resting on colarbones and shoulder. Athlete will then press the bar overhead to full lockout above the midline with shoulders over hips and elbows locked out over head. The lift will be counted when the bar reaches full lockout with bar over midline.

Seated Deadlift

This lift will be performed seated with a barbell, Dumbbells or Kettlebell.

Athlete will start seated on a bench or in a chair. weights must be on the floor and when the athlete is in full extension with arms at side and shoulders over hips the weight may not be touching the floor. Athlete will lean forward grab weights and keeping arms straight will sit up using core muscles pulling the weight into a seated upright position. when athlete established shoulders over hips and weight off th ground the lift will count.

 

Bench Press

The bench press movement is performed laying on a horizontal bench with the lifter lowering the bar down to the chest, pausing 1 second the weight ouching chest, and then pressing the bar upward to a locked out position.

Stanadards are:

Buttocks in contact with the bench
Shoulders in contact with the bench
Head in contact with the bench
Arms/elbows locked
Thumbs around the bar

Score & Video

All Lifts must be on one video and neither lift can be done more then 3 times and no longer then a 4 minute window. Rest between movements is max 3 minutes. Full workout must remain on camera and weights must be shown at completion of each 1 RM.

Athlete must be in full frame for each lift to be considered acceptable
