2023 MASTERS LEAGUE OPEN COMPETITION Dates:


20th January – ML23.1 (Release 4.30PM AEDT – Submit Scores 26th January 10PM AEDT)

27th January– ML23.2 (Release 4.30PM AEDT – Submit Scores 2nd February 10PM AEDT)

3rd February – ML23.3 (Release 4.30PM AEDT – Submit Scores 9th February 10PM AEDT)

10th February – ML23.4 (Release 4.30PM AEDT – Submit Scores 16th February 10PM AEDT)

REGISTER NOW TO RECEIVE AN EARLY BIRD PRICE (OFFER ENDS ON THE 4TH OF DECEMBER 2022 11:59PM)

 

Through the sponsorship of NC Fitness Gear, the first 10 gyms that have 30 or more athletes registered in the 2023 Masters League Open, will receive a 15kg or 20kg barbell of there choice with also 150kg worth of bumper plates. (Bumper plate colours may vary dependant on stock)

The first top 5 from the 10 gyms with the most registered will also receive items from LSKD. 

Master League Athletes are now in age Categories, starting from: 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+

AGE ELIGIBILITY: If you are 34 turning 35 before October 31st, 2023 you are eligible for the 35-39 Age Category. This concept is also for those deciding what age category to choose. Eg. If you are 44 turning 45 before October 31st, 2023, the Age Category you would select will be 45-49 

DIVISIONS: When you register you are required to enter as a Soldier (Beginner), Warrior (Intermediate), or Hero (Advanced) depending on your ability. See divisions page.

Four open workouts will be released, you will be given 1 week to complete each of these workouts (so 4 weeks in total) at your own affiliate, Gym, or Training Facility, movement standards will be provided and you will need your workout judged and verified by a Coach, Certified judge. 

You can perform each workout as many times as you like during the allocated 1 week and when you submit your verified score you will be able to track yourself on the leader board alongside all of the other athletes in your division and across your country and also nationally.

NOTE: ATHLETES PLEASE VIDEO YOUR WORKOUTS BECAUSE IF YOUR SCORE LOOKS QUESTIONABLE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THAT VIDEO & IT WILL BE VERIFIED BY A MASTERS LEAGUE JUDGE.

 

Team Eligibility: All team athletes will be required to individually perform the Open tests and then submit your scores as a pair. 

NOTE: You are not required to complete this at the same time or at the same training facility. This can be completed separately.

Teams will consist of same sex pairs, MM or FF.

The Captain of the team will be responsible to submit both scores before the deadline.

DIVISIONS: When you register for same sex pairs, you are required to enter as a Soldier (Beginner), Warrior (Intermediate), or Hero (Advanced) depending on your ability.See divisions page.

AGE GROUPS: 35-42, 43-49, 50+

Leaderboard: Each individual athlete will be able to track their ranking on our live Masters League Open leaderboard which can also be found on our website - www.mastersleague.com.au

Towards the end of the Masters League season, the top male and female athletes in each division will be invited to attend the final, Masters League Games!

All other International athletes will qualify through an Online event.
