Cyprus Throwdown is a two-day event taking place in the beautiful island of Cyprus on 7th and 8th of October 2017. The event is powered by Cosmos and is taking place for a fourth consecutive year. 355 athletes on various divisions will earn their spot in the finals, through the online qualifiers. RX men (top 80 will advance to the finals)

MASTERS men 35 – 39 (top 20 will advance to the finals)

MASTERS women 40-44 (top 10 will advance to the finals)

MASTERS men 45-49 (top 10 will advance to the finals)

MASTERS men 50+ (top 10 will advance to the finals)

SCALED men (top 80 will advance to the finals)
SCALED women (top 50 will advance to the finals)

Teens males up to 18 (top 10 will advance to the finals)

*The Master women 45+ division will take place only in case there are more than 15 registrations. In case you register and there are less than 15 registrations you will be refunded.


QUALIFIERS
There will be three qualifier workouts.
  • Workout 1 to be announced on 09/07/2017. Submission deadline is 14/07/2017.
  • Workout 2 to be announced on 16/07/2017. Submission deadline is 21/07/2017.
  • Workout 3 to be announced on 23/07/2017. Submission deadline is 28/07/2017.

FINALS
355 athletes will earn their spot in the finals, through the online qualifiers. Finals will take place in the beautiful island of Cyprus on 7th and 8th of October 2017.

PRIZES
Minimum of total prizes 15.000 euro.



Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

Workout 1 has a 12 minute time cap to complete for time: 300 meters swimming 600 meters sandbag carry (3 laps of 200m each) The sandbag for all male athletes will be 15kgs and for all female athletes 10kgs.
