The Willowbend: Fueled Warrior Throwdown is a Box vs Box team competition. Our goal is to bring together boxes around Houston and strengthen our affiliate community. On Saturday May 30, 2015, Boxes will face off in a team competition. Which box will come out on top? There is no limit to the number of teams per affiliate. Athletes will compete in three team workouts with the top four teams competing in a final WOD. The top ranked box at the end of the day will get a massive prize and individual team performances will also be recognized. The WOD’s will be challenging, but most importantly fun and will be open to athletes of ALL levels.

  1. Choose a Team Captain, Team Captain should have team members names, email addresses, genders and shirt sizes ready to provide at time of registration.
  2. Team Captain registers and pays for your team.

Registrations are final and there are no refunds. Team captains may add or remove team members after registration.


  1. Water Bottle, Competition food/snacks (food will be available at vendor village for purchase), coolers are OK.
  2. Lawn Chairs, Blankets, Sun Umbrellas, Sunblock
  3. Spectators are Free!
  4. Kids and Pets (on a leash) are welcome

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

AMRAP 7 min. 2 Thrusters (RX-95/65 Sc-65/45) 3 burpees 2 KettleBell Swings. (Rx-53/32 Sc-32/26) 3 burpees - 4 Thrusters 3 burpees. 4 KBS 3 burpees - 6 Thrusters 3 Burpees. 6 KBS 3 burpees. - Continue ascending pattern until time cap.

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

12 min EMOM. Minute 1: Male A attempts desired weight, while Female A attempts desired weight. Minute 2: Male B attempts desired weight while Female B attempts desired weight. Minute 3: Male A, Female A Minute 4: Male B, Female B Continue same pattern until time cap

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

25 Pull ups (25 Ring Rows) 25 HRPU (25 HRPU) 50 Double Unders (100 Singles) In whichever order the team decides to go, the first person will perform 25 Pulls ups at the end of all 25 pull ups he/she will move on to the push-ups and the next athlete will start on pull-ups. At this point both athletes must complete all reps before moving on to the next exercise and before the 3rd person joins at the Pull up station. The process will continue the in the same fashion until all athletes have completed the WOD.
