King and Queen of Crossfit Queenstown

Event description

CrossFit Queenstown is hosting our 1st competition event, The King and Queen of CFQT on Saturday, March 6.  This is our chance to pair up with a friend/make a friend and have some fun in a competition environment in the comforts of our own box! 

This event will be in mixed Male/Female pairs and feature 3 workouts and 1 final WOD to declare the winners.  There will be two divisions, RX and scaled with descriptions below to help guide your choice. 

When you and your partner are ready, register via Competitioncorner.com and that's pretty much it!

If competing is not for you at this moment you can still be part of the action by helping us on the day with set up and with judging the athletes.  Please let us know if you would like to help asap and we will have something for you to do!

All friends and family are invited and encouraged to watch, support and hangout on the day!

If you need to substitute your partner please advise us asap. Sorry, no refunds available.

RX DIVISION MOVEMENT STANDARDS:
BOTH partners must be able to perform multiple repetitions of:
• Cleans @ 70kg/40kg
• Snatch @ 50kg/30kg
• Wall-balls @ 9kg/6kg
• Thrusters @ 40kg/25kg
• Sumo Deadlift High-pull @ 50kg/30kg
• Box jump overs @ 24”/20”


At least ONE partner must be able to perform multiple repetitions of:
• Deadlifts @ 100kg/70kg
• Handstand push-ups (one ab-mat allowed)
• Pull-ups
• Toes to Bar
• Double Unders


SCALED DIVISION MOVEMENT STANDARDS:
BOTH partners must be able to perform multiple repetitions of:
• Cleans @ 50kg/30kg
• Snatch @ 30kg/20kg
• Wall-balls @ 9kg/6kg
• Thrusters @ 30kg/20kg
• Sumo Deadlift High-pull @ 40kg/25kg
• Ab-mat sit-ups
• Hand-release push-ups
• Box step overs @ 24”/20”


At least ONE partner must be able to perform multiple repetitions of:
• Deadlifts @ 80kg/50kg
• Single Unders
