Event description

Last year we hosted a successful charity workout competition in honour of CPL Ashley Birt in order to raise funds for Soldier On.

We are back at it again this year with ‘The Remembrance WOD‘ to be held on the 20th of November at 6pm to again raise funds for Soldier On.

Soldier On is a non for profit charity, whom supports men and women, and their families around Australia who have been physically or psychologically wounded in the service of their country.

This year’s competition will see same sex pairs compete in completing a Hero WOD to raise funds. The chosen Hero WOD for 2020 is Hero WOD CPL Richard Atkinson ”AKKER”.

10 Rounds AFAP (Round for round in pairs)
22 Push-Ups
22 meter Walking Lunges
22 Air Squats
22 meter Bear Crawl
22 meter Shuttle Run
Time Cap 50 minutes* 


CPL Atkinson was a member of the Darwin-based 1st Combat Engineer Regiment. Cpl Atkinson payed the ultimate price for his country on 2nd of February 2011, whilst on patrol in Afghanistan CPL Atkinson was tragically killed by an improvised explosive device.

This is a family friendly an event, and everyone is welcome. 1st and 2nd placing pairs of both categories will receive prize packs from our kind sponsors.There will be a gold coin donation sausage sizzle along with a free kids bouncy castle.
