Event description

Outcast Winter Games 2017 is a mixed team competition. 

We will have both Rx and Scaled divisions.

Partners will be pulled out of a hat on FB Live near the competition date. 

Workouts will not be released ahead of time. 

The movements will be doable for everyone. 

This event will be a FUN way to show off your community and competitive spirit.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

60 clean and jerks at 95/65 60 snatches 95/65 Teams may split the work any way they want. 10:00 time-cap

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

Teams will have 5:00 for both teammates to establish a 1RM DEADLIFT. Then, immediately, each teammate will have one chance for max reps at 50% of that max. This event will be scored twice: the combo of one-rep maxes and the combo of maximum reps. Maxes will be multiplied by .5 and rounded up to the nearest 5# increment, if necessary. So, if a max is established at 205# the reps would be done at 205 x .5=102.5 which rounds up to 105#. 0:00-5:00 both partners set a max (bar is loaded appropriately) 5:00-6:00 lighter lifter hits a max set (bar is loaded appropriately) 6:00-7:00 heaver lifter hits a max set

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

Each partner will get one chance at one MAX REP set. The score will be the combined sets.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

Barbell Carry 115# around the building right into 40 Wall balls while a partner is in a handstand 40 pull-ups while a partner is hanging from the pull-up bar 40 MedBall pass sit-ups 40 box jumps while a partner is holding the bottom of a squat 40 push-ups while a partner is holding a plank ~each teammate must complete at least one rep at each station ~teammates may switch whenever they like

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

Partners will ski (on the ski erg) 2017 meters for time, switching out as they like. This workout may be done at any time before the start of the last workout. Teams MUST sign up for their ski time BEFORE 9AM and then show up at the scheduled time.
