We're changing the date as a placeholder NOT as an official date change. We simply don't want any of our stored information to disappear after 3.28.2020 passes. We will continue to update all athletes regarding the status and new date chosen just as soon as the City of Coppell and Dallas County warrant us to host the event. In the meantime....KEEP TRAINING!

šŸ“¢šŸ“¢šŸ“¢Ā In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas Governor Greg Abbot has established an Executive Order prohibiting the gathering of any groups larger than 10 people and the closing of all gyms throughout the entire state. The conclusion of this Executive Order is scheduled for April 3, though there always exists the possibility it may be extended.

Muscle Madness will therefore be postponed until a date To Be Determined. We will continue keeping a close eye on all restrictions, and plan to reschedule Muscle Madness as soon as we are able! Keep Training!Ā šŸ‘Š

Muscle Madness is a 2-person partner competition which will be held on Date TBD at Sandy Lake CrossFit.

There will be both RX and Scaled Divisions for Male/Male, Female/Female, and Male/Female teams.

The competition guarantees at least 3 workouts for all divisions. Workouts to be announced prior to competition.

Prize packages will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finishers in each division. All participants who register before March 15th will receive a tshirt.

RX Division Guidelines:Ā Male and Female athletes participating in the RX division should beĀ capable of performing the following movements in a variety of WOD combinationsā€¦and maybe be ready for a couple of surprises.

Snatch (135 lbs, 95 lbs)
Clean & Jerk (185 lbs, 125 lbs)
Skill proficiency is moderate to good in: C2B Pull Ups, Double Unders & Toes to Bar
One or more athletes are able to perform high skill movements (i.e. Muscle Ups, Handstand Walks, etc.)

Scaled Division Guidelines:Ā When it comes to the Scaled division, Male and Female athletes should beĀ prepared to perform the following movements in a variety of WOD combinationsā€¦and maybe be ready for a couple of surprises as well.

Snatch (95 lbs, 65 lbs)
Clean & Jerk (135 lbs, 95 lbs)
Skill proficiency is fair or may not be able to string sets of: Pull Ups & Toes to Bar

*** These loads and skills are recommendations. We reserve the right to change or program heavier if desired.

What to Bring:

Feel free to bring tents, chairs, etc. to setup out back behind the gym.

Parking:

Athletes and spectators are asked to park at the building BEHIND the gym at 954 S Royal Lane.Ā
