Onsite Competition for Individuals

Event description

As civilians, we too often take for granted the people in our nation that fight for our freedom, protect our streets, keep our homes safe, and save our lives.  The Super Soldier Series is a unique competition that recognizes the capabilities of the Military/Fire/Police/EMS personnel in a friendly and competitive atmosphere. 

Due to COVID-19, many people less fortunate than us have lost a loved one, lost a job, and are struggling to make ends meet due to no fault of their own.  TTC has decided to take any profits from this event and donate to a local charity (to be determined) that is helping families deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. 

This competition is open to anyone (we want athletes from all walks of life: Civilian, Military, and First Responders) and there will be six divisions:

Men’s Divisions

  • RX
  • Scaled
  • Legend (40+)

Women’s Divisions

  • RX
  • Scaled
  • Legend (40+)

General Rules

  • The series is an individual competitor event.  
  • Once individuals start on the first workout there will not be an option to change personnel.
  • To qualify for a special service award, you must be an active or retired member of the Military (all branches), Military Academy, National Guard and Reservists (active and inactive), and First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS).
  • The Legend's division is reserved for competitors 40+ years old before the day of the competition is held.
    Registration closes at 12:00 midnight on 11/21/2020.  
  • Competitors will be briefed on the exercises/workouts during the walkthrough on the day of the event.
  • No refunds of registration fees will be allowed; participant substitutions will be allowed.
  • Competitors can wear a t-shirt, shorts, BDU’s, boots, or running / cross-training shoes. Gloves are allowed and recommended for some obstacles.
  • This is a rain, snow, or shine event (bring chairs, tents/canopies, food, and drinks as needed).

WOD Standards

All competitors must be able to perform the following movements in a workout:

  • Pull-Ups / Jumping Pull-Ups
  • Push-ups
  • Burpees
  • Toes to Bar / Knee Raises
  • Rope Climbs (Rx Only)
  • Wall-Ball Shots (20/14)
  • Ground-to-Overhead - (135/95); For scaled  and legends competitors, weights will be reduced
  • DB Step Ups - (50/35) (24”/20”) / (35/25) (24”/20”)

Who is allowed to compete?

Anyone is allowed to compete, Civilians, Military, and First Responders. There are six divisions in this competition. 

What is the Legends division for?

The Legends division is reserved for athletes 40 years of age and older.

How will you select the charity organization?

This is currently being researched at this time.  Once we have selected a charitable organization focused on COVID-19 we will inform all participants of this competition.

How long will the registration be open? 

In order to best prepare for the best athlete experience, we must set the registration cut-off date on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

What is your privacy policy for donations?

Our privacy policy is an "opt-in” rule methodology.  That means by default we do not share your personal data unless you agree it is okay to do so.
