Event description

The 4th annual Burpees for Boobies competition and fundraiser, powered by Texas Fitness Club will be on October 1st 2016! What’s better than WODing for a cause while enjoying one of the best views of the capitol of Texas?? We will be located on the main mall at The University of Texas at Austin, directly in front of the tower. Per usual, ALL proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Resource center of Texas, a non-profit created by breast cancer survivors that seeks to provide a multitude of services and support efforts for those affected by breast cancer. Texas Fitness Club holds the power of community as a core value of our organization, and are excited to call out to our community to help advance the efforts of this wonderful organization. 

Please note: Carpooling is highly encouraged as parking is limited around the campus area!! More details about parking will be available closer to the event date.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

Rx: 50 Wall-balls (20/14) 200m sandbag run (50 pounds/40 pounds) 40 KB swings (32/24) 200m sandbag run 30 burpees 200m sandbag run 20 Toes to bar Scaled: 50 wall-balls (14/10) 200m sandbag run (40 pounds/30 pounds) 40 KB swings (24/16) 200m sandbag run 30 burpees 200m sandbag run 20 hanging knee raises

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better | Tiebreaker: Burpees completed in the remaining time period

Must do 2 touch and go cleans (power or full) within a 30 second time period. Athlete will then have 15 seconds to transition to the next bar. *Bar cannot stay at hips for more than 2 seconds, and cannot be at the shoulders for more than 5 seconds *MUST BE TOUCH AND GO *Make sure their hands are on the bar the whole time. They must guide the bar down to the pad
