"DUAL CONFLICT"

Saturday, November 23, 2019  

Functional Fitness Competition with Teams of 2 (same sex). So get your favorite gym partner or friend to sign up. Whether your experienced or it's your debut competition, the condensed schedule will help make your day go smoother.

60 Teams total: 20 Teams per Division

RX: 10 Men/10 Women

Intermediate: 10 Men/10 women

Novice: 10 Men/10 Women

Condensed schedule, short workouts, and quick turnaround.

Parking lot in front and behind gym. EZ-ups are welcomed but will be first come first serve basis.

No Refunds but teams can substitute athletes 2 weeks before competion with written notification to Host. 

 

 

 

 

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

RXd DIVISION:
ONE PARTNER WORKING AT A TIME. 
ON GO THE FIRST ATHLETE HAS 60 SEC TO COMPLETE 12 BURPEE OVER BAR (LATERALLY) AND 1 SQUAT SNATCH. 
A 30 SECOND TRANSITION PERIOD IS THEN ALOTTED FOR LOAD ADJUSTMENTS.
AT THE 1:30 MARK OF THE RUNNING CLOCK THE SECOND ATHLETE WILL THEN NEED TO COMPLETE 12 BURPEES AND 1 SQUAT SNATCH. 
A 30 SECOND TRANSITION PERIOD IS THEN ALOTTED FOR LOAD ADJUSTMENTS.
CONTINUE IN THAT MANNER UNTIL BOTH PARTNERS HAVE COMPLETED 3 EFFORTS EACH (CLOCK WILL READ 8:30 AT COMPLETION).


*SQUAT SNATCH REQUIRED RXd.
*SCORE - THE COMBINED TOTAL LOAD FOR ALL LIFTS. A MISSED LIFT IS SCORED AS 0 TOWARDS YOUR TEAMS TOTAL AND CAN SERIOUSLY EFFECT PLACING.

INTERMEDIATE DIVISION:
TIME DOMAIN SAME AS RXd.
SQUAT SNATCH REQUIRED FOR INTERMEDIATE.
REPS ARE 10 BURPEE OVER BAR / 1 SQUAT SNATCH.

BEGINNER DIVISION:
TIME DOMAIN SAME AS RXd.
REPS ARE 8 BURPEE OVER BAR / 1 SNATCH ANYHOW (POWER, SPLIT, ETC...).

BAR MUSCLE UPS - ONE PARTNER COMPLETES MUSCLE UP REPS, THE OTHER PARTNER MUST BE IN A STATIC DEADLIFT HOLD AT FULL EXTENSION (KNEES / HIPS) FOR BAR MU REPS TO COUNT. SWITCH POSITIONS AS NEEDED UNTIL REPS ARE COMPLETE.

JUMPING PULL UP REPS - ONE PARTNER COMPLETES JUMPING PULL UP REPS, THE OTHER PARTNER MUST BE IN A STATIC DEADLIFT HOLD AT FULL EXTENSION (KNEES / HIPS) FOR JUMPING PULL UP REPS TO COUNT. SWITCH POSITIONS AS NEEDED UNTIL REPS ARE COMPLETE.

BALL OVER BAR REPS - A REP IS COUNTED WHEN THE BALL PASSES OVER THE HEIGHT OF THE PULL UP BAR (8' - 9') WITHOUT TOUCHING THE BAR. BOTH PARTNERS ARE REQUIRED TO SQUAT EACH REP, SO EVEN WHEN YOUR PARTNER IS RECEIVING THE BALL FROM YOU TO COMPLETE A REP YOU MUST ALSO SQUAT WHILE THEY SQUAT. 
WALL CLIMB REPS-  PARTNERS MAY SWITCH AS NEEDED UNTIL REPS ARE COMPLETE. NON WORKING PARTNER IS STATIC (REST).
