Event description

CrossFit Glorified and the Fit 4 Life Farm family invite you be a part of 5th Annual Turkey Throwdown. This year's event continues to bring you a true test of fitness in a beautiful rural setting.  We have partnered with 10 Experience to bring you an unforgettable event.  Our event utilizes two locations Fit 4 Life Farm and Washington College Academy. These locations are less then a mile away from each other. This test of fitness competition will offer unique modalities using some natural terrains of the farm plus some traditional CF movements. The following are the divisions, cost and more information offered this year. 

Saturday Teams, Youth Individual and Teenage Individual Divisions:

RX, RXish Scaled -M/M, F/F, Coed

Masters 35+ M/M, F/F, Coed

Teens 13-15- Individual

Teens 16-7- Individual

Youth 9-12 Individual

Youth 5-8- Individual 

Cost: Early Bird Teams Special $99 ends August 30th  (Normally $130/Teams)

            Individual Early Bird Special $25

(Note all individual teens, must complete this WOD. Note this floater event is also the tiebreaker in case of a points tie)

1 Min to total Max Cal on the A.B. 

Then the second minute athletes go for max Burpees over wall

1,200 meter OCR course (5 to 7 obstacles)
50 Bar facing burpees

1,000 meter row female 800 meter row
1,200 meter OCR course (5-7 obstacles easier ones then RX)
30 bar facing burpees

Will be CrossFit Open Workout 20.5 (If you're in the Open you can use it as score for the open we will validate it for you)

2 Min Max Cal AB & Max Burpees Over Wall
Partner A + B Both go at the same time on the A.B. (two separate Assault Bikes) for 1 Min to total Max Cal

Then the second minute both athletes go for max Burpees over wall (1 Athlete working at a time)

Scaled -Assist if needed
Masters -Assist if needed
All other divisions no assistance

The Sprint Event Details:


Part A:

Partner A will complete agility course and tag partner B which will do the same (relay style) 3 min cap

Part B:

Partner A will sled pull 70 yards and back then tag partner B which will do the same (relay style) 3 min cap

Note: (there will be a 20 sec transition set on clock between part A and B
Weight on sled 105/80 for RX, Masters, RXish

(Scaled weight 80/55)

Teams:
Partner An off course all terrain run (with objects on course 600-700 meters)
Partner B working on AMRAP of 7 DL and 5 Bar MU

Note: run is worth 5 reps

RXish /Masters ( 5 C2B) Scaled (10 ring rows or 5 pull ups)
