Event description

Crash the Bash is a unique competition where athletes will compete under the lights!...Wabash CrossFit is proud to once again host “Crash the Bash” on Friday October 4th. This competition will be composed of 4 person teams 2 male 2 female.. Your team will compete in 3 workouts within 40 min. Along with a floater WOD... the cool part is... it’s all under the lights in downtown Wabash, right on the street! The workouts will test all fitness domains. Each workout will have scaling options built within, with a scaled podium as well! Cash prizes for RX winners. Cost for sign up is $240.00 per team.

After your 40 min you will be able to explore all of what downtown Wabash has to offer.. great food, drinks, shopping, and even a hotel steps away from the competition.

Substitutes will be allowed, we understand life happens, we just ask you make us aware of any team changes.

Bring your jump rope, belts, wraps, shoes, water and whatever you need for a good time at a CrossFit Comp.

Parking will be on the street. Downtown Wabash does have a few parking lots that are close to the event. The competition will be on Miami street between market and canal streets.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 12

30 KBS 55/35

30 Snatch 75/55

30 Front Squat 75/55

 

Each time will move through the workout in a waterfall style. Athlete 1 will complete the row, as soon as athlete 1 is off the tower athlete 2 may start the row and the athlete 1 will continue onto the KBS. This patter will continue until all four athletes have completed all the movements. The time stops when athlete 4 has finished the front squats. The teams must complete the workout in a male/ female/male/ female order.

30 clean and jerks for time RX 135/95 

 

each athelte will complete 30 clean and jerks. Only 1 athlete working at a time. As soon as athlete 1 completes 30 clean and jerks, athlete 2 will start. The score for the workout is in total time of all for athletes. They do not need to complete in any certain order. This will involve strategy, strength, and speed.

20 min time cap 

400 DU 

160 box jumps over 

120 pushups 

100 deadlift @315lb 

80 Burpee over bar 

 

athletes will share reps however they want. Only one athlete working at a time

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

Find a 1 rep max thruster 12 min time cap

 

each athlete will find their one rep max thruster. The barbell will start on the ground. The score is total weight for team 

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

100 calories on air assualt bike 

100 tire flips 

 

athletes can break these reps however they want. Must complete the bike calories before flipping the tire.
