The Dutch Throwdown is a Dutch event for the recreational Crossfitter; "Not fort he best, just fort he rest". The Dutch Throwdown consists of 2 stages; the qualifier and the main event The Dutch Throwdown.

 

1.      De qualifier

1.1. The qualifier
The qualifier is a series of two workouts spread over two weeks. The qualifier WODs are announced via:
1.) the website http://www.thedutchthrowdown.nl
2.) The Facebook page of The Dutch Throwdown
3.) Competition Corner
Athletes must complete all workouts, and enter their scores in CC (competition corner) to be included in CC's ranking.
all wods will be announced on Friday, January 10, 2020 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

80% per division & age in the Rookie category "Scaled" and "Advanced", RX will continue to the main event The Dutch Throwdown on 20.21 & 22 March 2020 in Maaspoort Den Bosch. * up to a maximum number of allowed athletes per day

 

1.2. The athletes
Any age can participate in The Dutch Throwdown, as long as he / she has never qualified for national and international tournaments, individual and / or team, such as Lowlands Throwdown, Beach Throwdown, Belgium Throwdown etc.
All athletes must complete the qualifier to eventually participate in the main event The Dutch Throwdown.
The organization of The Dutch Throwdown reserves the right to exclude athletes from the main event without giving any reason. The organization also has the right to validate scores or declare them invalid.

1.3.      Registratie
Every athlete must register and register online via http://thedutchthrowdown.nl. Athletes are not allowed to create duplicate accounts. To ensure participation in the qualifier, the athlete qualifer must pay € 15.00 when registering for The Dutch Throwdown. main event € 57.50

Class divisions
There are four different classes for which you can register:

1.) Rookie - everything is bodyweight and empty bar and or light kettlebell or dumbbells (5/10 kg)
2.) "Scaled" - for example single unders, jumping pullups and maximum weights 40/25 kg
3.) "Advanced" - able to do prescribed benchmarks and maximum weight 60/40 kg
4.) "RX" - athletes

1.5. Qualifier workout
For all workouts, these are released by The Dutch Throwdown and communicated online to the athletes.
The workouts will contain the following:
1.) The movements
2.) Start and end position of the movement
3.) Permitted techniques, accessories and / or equipment
4.) The number of repetitions
5.) Required materials and / or weights
6.) Timecap or time limit
7.) Details about scoring
8.) Film Regulations

1.6. Judging and scoring
Judging and entering scores are required to make every workout official. Athletes are responsible for the "movement and workout standards".
It is the athlete's responsibility to enter his / her scores in the Competition corner on time and to make videos of his / her workout. Scores that have not been entered in full will not be accepted.
The organization of The Dutch Throwdown reserves the right to request random videos from athletes.

1.7. Score protocol - video recording
There are four outcome measures for the requested videos:
1.) Good video - the athlete achieves the prescribed movement standards during each
repetition during the workout and the score entered is correct. The score becomes
accepted.
2.) Reporting with a small penalty - the athlete shows 1 to 4 "no reps" over the entire video,
which of the entered score are collected. When the score gets in time
appears, this time is proportionally corrected.
3.) Valid with a big penalty - the athlete shows 5 to 8 "no reps" over the entire video.
In this case, 15% of the final score will be collected. When the score becomes
displayed in time, this time is proportionally corrected.
4.) Invalid - the athlete cannot follow the prescribed workout according to the movement
standards, a significant and unacceptable number of "no reps" repetitions or the video
does not comply with the film regulations. The athlete's score in this case
refused. The athlete can deliver a new video within the applicable time limits.

1.8. Leaderboard
Competition Corner hosts the official Leaderboard for The Dutch Throwdown. Scores become visible after entering.

1.9 choose division:
If you have been in the final then you have to go higher after a division. (exceptions Illness, absence at the main event)
If you did not make the event, you can start again in the same division.

2.0 age category.
The age that you are for the main event is the category that suits you
