Event description

Fitness Races are monthly online fitness competitions. All workouts are for time. Welcome to our August 2019 competition. Let's race!

Fitness Races August 2019 will consist of four workouts: Race #1, Race #2, Race #3 and Race #4.

Here's the workout announcement and result deadline schedule for August 2019:

  • Race #1 and Race #2 will release on August 1 at 8:00pm EDT. 
  • Results for Race #1 and Race #2 are due by August 14 at 8:00pm EDT.
  • Race #3 and Race #4 will release on August 15 at 8:00pm EDT.
  • Results for Race #3 and Race #4 are due by August 31 at 8:00pm EDT.

There are three workout options for every race: Prescribed, Intermediate and Scaled.

Divisions

  • MEN - 3 workout options for every race: Prescribed, Intermediate and Scaled.
  • WOMEN - 3 workout options for every race: Prescribed, Intermediate and Scaled.

Scoring

Athletes must complete all four races to be eligible to win. The competition will be scored using a Point per Place method. Your place equals your points. 1st place = 1 point, 2nd place = 2 points, 3rd place = 3 points, etc. Your total score for the competition will be the point total from all four races combined. Lowest score wins. The overall tiebreaker is total time from all four races combined. Fastest time wins the tiebreaker.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall Men's and Women's Champions.

The Top 10 Male and Female Finishers this month and every month through October will qualify for the Fitness Races Championship in November, where the cash prizes will be even larger!

You may submit multiple results for each race prior to the deadline.

Video proof must be submitted with all results.

There are no registration refunds.
