Onsite Competition for Individuals

Event description

*Formerly known as “Fall Classic“ in 2018. We are unifying competitions at Orangeville/Athlete Institute to run all competitions under one brand.*

Our goal is to give competitors an opportunity to showcase their skills, strength, power, and stamina across broad domains. Individuals will compete in 4 events throughout the competition. There will also be a seeding WOD released at least 1 week prior to competition to determine heat and lane placements.

There will be 2 divisions for this competition - Competitive and Recreational

Spaces will be limited

Registration includes athlete goody bag (t-shirts and athlete sign) and lunch.

Competitive Division Standards:

Clean 1-rep max (squat or power) (225/155)
Double Dumbbell Ground to Overhead (50/35)
Double Dumbbell Box Step-Overs (50/35)(24/20”)
Pistol Squats
Handstand Walk
Strict Handstand Push-ups

*NOTE* There will be a sprint event that involves fast turning and running on a turf surface. Cleats are not mandatory but optional and recommended.

*There will be an alternative option for athletes who cannot do pull-ups (Recreation division ONLY)

Please show up at least 10 minutes prior to your heat to watch how the course is run, ask questions, and warm-up.

Athletes will be running the sprint course on their own and will be timed using a timing gate system for precision in timung.
