CrossFit® Lowlands Throwdown Online Qualifier 2020

Event description

The CrossFit Lowlands Throwdown is back for the 11th time and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. Now with 480 athletes competing in the final event and not one, but two competition floors, this edition is shaping up to be the best one yet! 

There is more than enough to discover on and around the competition floor for our athletes and spectators. We are offering activities, masterclasses, a spectator gym and an elaborate Vendor Village, all on-site. It’s turning into a real fitness festival!

The CrossFit Lowlands Throwdown is an open competition that consists of an online qualifier for anyone brave enough to participate, leading up to an epic final stadium event in the Netherlands.
And to top it all off, winners of the Elite and Team divisions will be extended an invitation to participate in the official 2020 CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin.

This is the first step: the Qualifier.

It consists of three workouts all to be completed in their designated order on one single day. You will have 6 days, from Thursday the 5th of March 2020 to Tuesday the 10th of March 2020, to complete the qualifiers and submit your best scores. Please take note that dividing the workouts over multiple days or changing the order of the workouts is not allowed and will result in disqualification.

Athletes and Teams that qualify for the final event need to provide video’s all their workout.

Refund policy

Please be aware that all payments are final. No refunds or transfers will be permitted, regardless of reason (injury, illness, change in work schedule, deployment, etc.) 

Workout release date

The Qualifier workouts will be released on Wednesday the 4th of March 2020, just before the 6 day qualifier period.

Qualifying rules

ATHLETES can do the QUALIFIER workouts on:

  • Thursday, March 5, 2020,
  • Friday, March 6, 2020,
  • Saturday, March 7, 2020,
  • Sunday, March 8, 2020,
  • Monday, March 9, 2019,
  • Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

The deadline to submit your score is Tuesday evening 10 March 2020 21:00 CE(S)T.

Athletes must complete all workouts on the same day, in the prescribed order. Repeating the workouts is permitted, but all workouts need to be completed again in the prescribed order on one single day. It is not allowed to redo only one or two workouts separately on a different day.

You may only submit the scores of workouts that are part of a three-workout attempt that are performed in consecutive order (workout 1, workout 2, workout 3). Submitting results from different attempts is not permitted and will result in disqualification.
