Max Dumbbell Hang Clean and Jerk 22.5/22.5/15kg (3 Work synchro)

At the call of ‘Go’ sub team one will enter the field of play and all three athletes will jump up to hang (2 athletes on the bar and 1 on the rings). When all athletes are observed by the judge to be in position, they may begin reps of synchro toes to bar; swapping in and out as required.

Upon completion of the toes to bar reps the athletes may advance to the two machines. One athlete mounts the bike and one athlete mounts the ski platform while the third stands by to rotate in as required. The athletes may swap across the two machines and rest as required until both monitors read 30kcals.

Once both monitors read 30kcals the athletes may advance to the DB Hang Clean and Jerks. All three athletes hold a DB and work to complete as many synchronised hang clean and jerks in the remaining time as possible.

At four minutes, the first sub team stops and returns to tag the second sub team who will then make their way onto the field of play to begin their round.

Sub team two completes their round as per the first team and contributes to an accumulated total of dumbbell hang clean and jerks with their count beginning where the first team’s ended.

The two sub teams continue to complete a second round each or continue to complete reps up to the target total of 100 hang clean and jerks.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

For time:

Sub Team 2:
Swim 150m together, then 8 In Outs - one athlete working

Sub Team 3:
Swim 200m together, then 10 In Outs - one athlete working

At the call of ‘Go’ sub team one will enter the pool together with both athletes setting off on the swim simultaneously. Upon completion of 100m (4 lengths) by either athlete, they may exit the pool and begin six ‘In Outs’ while the second athlete is still completing their swim. Both athletes must complete the swim for the next sub team to start their leg. Upon completion of the swim distance and ‘In Outs’ by the first sub team, both athletes must exit the pool to set off the next sub team.

Sub team two completes 150m (6 lengths) and 8 In Outs under the same conditions as the first sub team. Upon completion of the swim distance and ‘In Outs’ by the second sub team, both athletes must exit the pool to set off the next sub team.

Sub team three completes 200m (8 lengths) and 10 In Outs under the same conditions as the other sub teams. Upon completion of the swim distance and ‘In Outs’ by the third sub team, both athletes must exit the pool to conclude the workout.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

For Time
Each sub team completes:

5m Sprint
5 Synchro Sandball to Shoulder 60/40kg
10m Sprint
3 Synchro Sandball to Shoulder 60/40kg
10m Sprint
1 Synchro Sandball to Shoulder 60/40kg

At the call of ‘Go’ sub team one will enter the field of play and both athletes will sprint to the cheese curds and lift them to the shoulder, displaying synchronisation in that position over five reps. The athletes then sprint back to the start line in order to return for a round of three synchronised lifts; then sprint to the start line and back for a final synchro rep. The sub team then runs forward to the finish mat, triggering the release of sub team two.

The sub teams continue in this pattern completing the synchro reps and sprints; releasing each sub team in turn until all teams have completed their work or the time cap of 8 minutes is reached.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

For Time:
Sub Teams 1 & 2
50 Back Squats 60/40kg

10 Synchro Bar Muscle Ups

At the call of ‘Go’ sub team one will enter the field of play and the athletes begin to complete repetitions of the back squats with one athlete working at a time until the total prescribed volume is reached.

Upon completing the fifty squats, both athletes advance to the pull up bar in order to begin the synchro gymnastics. The sub team, having completed all of the pull ups, progresses back to the holding area to tag sub team two, who complete the same workout structure before tagging sub team three.

Sub teams three and four progress as per the first two teams but the movements are modified to front squats and chest to bar pull ups.

Sub teams five and six progress as per the previous teams but the movements are modified to overhead squats and bar muscle ups.

The sub teams complete their prescribed work, releasing each sub team in turn, until all teams have completed their work, or the time cap of 20 minutes is reached.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

For Time:

Run 1200m Loop (12 athletes)
Run 1200m Loop (9 athletes)
Run 800m Track (6 athletes)
Run 400m Track (3 athletes)

At the call of ‘Go’ the whole twelve-person team will begin the first stage of the run with all team members completing a 1200m loop. Upon their return to the staging area, the team will gather in their holding pen and when all team members are present and seated, the team sets off on the next run segment leaving 3 members in the pen.

The team completes a further 1200m loop. Upon their return to the staging area, the team will gather in their holding pen and when all team members are present and seated the team sets off on the next run segment leaving 6 members in the pen. Any combination of six athletes from the team may complete the next segment - the members of the team that dropped out after the first loop may re-join the team.

The team completes an 800m loop of the running track. Upon their return to the staging area, the team will gather in their holding pen and when all team members are present and seated, the team sets off on the next run segment of 400m leaving 9 members in the pen. Any combination of three athletes from the team may complete this segment - the members of the team that dropped out after the previous segments may re-join the team.

The workout continues until all the prescribed distances have been completed or the time cap of 21 minutes is reached.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

For Time
Each Sub Team:

75 Kcal Row
50 Burpees Over Erg
200 Double Unders
75 Shoulder to Overhead 50/35kg

At the call of ‘Go’ sub team one will enter the field of play and the athletes begin to complete the seventy-five kcal row, breaking up the work however they see fit. Upon completing the row, the athletes immediately advance to the burpees over the erg, again breaking the work as required before moving to the double unders. At this time, the erg is clear and sub team two may enter the field of play to begin their workout. Sub teams enter the field of play as the previous sub team clears the burpees over the erg.

Sub team one advances to the double unders, dividing the work as required before progressing to the STOH, again breaking the work as required until the prescribed work is complete. Upon completion of the prescribed work, sub team one advances to the finish line to move out of play.

One athlete from the sub teams works at any given time. Sub teams may not overtake each other, irrespective of the work completed. A “bottleneck” will require the sub teams to remain on their station until such a time as they can all advance forward, even if it blocks a sub team from beginning the workout or a station.

The workout continues until such a time as all of the prescribed work has been completed or the time cap of 20 minutes is reached.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

Upon completion of the deadlifts, at least one athlete from each sub team must complete a ten-metre handstand walk to progress the workout.

Once the handstand walk is completed, the two athletes ascend the ropes together to complete three synchronised repetitions of rope climbs.

Completion of the synchronised rope climbs allows progression back to the handstand walk with at least one athlete completing the 10m distance to progress to the cleans.

Sub team one completes five cleans to complete their workout before tagging in sub team two.

Sub teams two and three follow this same pattern.

Sub teams four and five follow the same pattern but complete only three cleans at the heavier weight increment.

Sub team six follows the same pattern but completes only one repetition at the heaviest weight increment.

The workout is concluded when sub team six has completed the clean and crossed the finish line.
