Event description

Hot buns and holy mustard! Depot's first-ever summer partner competition is coming up on Saturday, July 13th at Depot Santa Maria.

Sun's out, Buns Out is an in-house CF competition for Depot members. If you are a friend of Depot’s but not a member, and are interested in participating, please email wendy@depot.fitness

Registration is $90 per team. Sign up by Monday, June 17th (11:59 PM PST) to guarantee a shirt with registration! Registrations after June 17 will be accepted (pending space), but will not come with a t-shirt.

Registrations will be capped, so sign up today to secure your spot!

Pairs can be MM, FF, or MF. Both teammates must participate together as Rx or Scaled (i.e. there cannot be a mixed team of 1 Scaled athlete and 1 RX athlete).

Workouts are below! We’ll send all movement standards closer to the event and review in-person the day of competition. If you have any questions/concerns about movements in the meantime, please email Jeff Franzen at jeff@depot.fitness

WOD 1

10 min AMRAP
30 Toes To Bar (S: Knee Ups)
50 Alternating DB Snatches (50/35) (S: 35/20)
50 Box Jump Overs 24/20 (S: Box Step-ups Ok)
30 Handstand Push-Ups (S: DB Push Press 35/20)

**Athletes break work however they'd like. One person working at a time.

WOD 2

For Cals:
2 mins for max Cals/Reps
Partner A: Thrusters 75/55 (S:45/35)
Partner B: Row

Partner B: Thrusters 75/55 (S:45/35)

WOD 3

For time:
30 - 20 - 10
Snatch 115/75, 135/95, 155/105

*20 Syncro Bar Facing Burpees after each set

**Snatch reps can be split between partners however they'd like, one partner working a time. Burpees are done together, synchronized as a team.

Scaled: 75/55, 95/65, 115/75

*Athletes change their own plates
**Any type of snatch OK
***12 min time cap

**No refunds for the competition will be issued; substitutes submitted up until 48 hours before the day of the event are okay.

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better | Tiebreaker: Reps of HSPU
