Event description

Welcome to the inaugural Games Prep event, hosted by Ozaukee Fitness.


On July 27th, OzFit will host a same gender partner competition with RX and Scaled divisions. This is a great opportunity to get hyped for the Reebok CrossFit Games in Madison the following weekend.


Games Prep will include 3 events for each division with the top teams invited to a final event. With an amazing 10000 sq ft of space we have the flexibility to get creative with the equipment and events we can run! We’re also excited to announce along with great prizes, we are going to offer cash payouts to the winners.


The day will include a wide variety of functional fitness elements, along with vendors and food trucks- making the day a great time for athletes and spectators.

FAQ:

No refunds after June 1st, registration is transferable. Please inform us by July 20th

Parking is on the street and in the front of the building

We will have food vendors, but please bring enough for yourself if you are competing

Be on time, we will start without you

Check-In - 7:00-8:00am

Athlete Brief - 8:00-8:30am

WOD 1 - 9:00am

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 10

40/30/20 Syncro KB Thrusters (24/16) (20/12) and suitcase Carry (50/35) (40/25)

*Partners will perform 40 single kettlebell thruster in synchronization, then perform a suitcase carry 100 yards with a single dumbbell. Then, 30 thrusters with a carry and finally 20 with a carry.

Score is time to completion

Time cap 10 minutes

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

*12 Minutes for max load. 4 minutes for each partner to lift 1rm front squat, 4 minutes for the team to 1rm Push Press, 4 minutes for each partner to lift 1rm power clean.Clock is continuous, there is no transition time. Score is the combination of each partner’s 3 lifts, total weight in pounds.

SANDBAG Clean

Partners will alternate perfroming a sandbag clean. The sandbag will start on the floor and be cleaned to a shoulder, the athlete must show control at the shoulder, throwing sandbag over shoulder is a NO REP.
