Ideal for CrossFit & Functional Fitness beginners and Scaled athletes

MOVEMENTS
Entrants should be able to perform exercises to the CrossFit Games Open Scaled Movements & Weights.

An example of movements that may occur are:

American KettleBell Swings 
Double Unders or Single Skips
Shoulder to Overhead (STOH)
AbMat Sit Ups
DB Snatch
Wall Balls
Clean
Down Ups
Pull Ups or Jumping Pull Ups
Box Jumps and/or Step Ups (24"/20")

 

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

"We Have Lift Off"

8 minute lifting window:

Each athlete has to complete 30 single unders before attempting a lift at the set weight. Partner B must wait whilst Partner A completes their skips and lift attempt, before tagging Partner B to start their skips and lift attempt at that same weight. The pair have to change their own weights and get it checked by their judge before their lift attempt.

Women start at 25kg and increase 5kg each lift.

Men start at 30kg and increase 10kg each lift. 

Deadlift= 1 Point

Clean= 2 Points

Clean & Jerk= 3 Points

Snatch= 4 Points

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 10

Partner A completes a full round of the following and then tags Partner B to complete their full round:

50ft DBall Carry (1 rep per 25ft)

6 DBalls Over Box

After a tag from Partner B, Partner A completes a full round of the following and then tags Partner B to complete their full round:

15/10 Cal Row

50ft DBall Carry (1 rep per 25ft)

Partner A starts and completes the round of 3, he tags Partner B who then completes their round of 3. They keep switching after each rep round.

Max Cal Air Bike

Partner A may start after 3 DB Burpees over Box and 3 DB Ground to Overhead.

Partner B must take over after their 3 of each and so on and so forth...
