The 4th Annual Midsummer Melee is an Intermediate and Beginner competition focused on bringing a "Pro" feel to a local compeititon to the recreational competitior! Never competed? Competed a few times and still getting better? This is for you!

We need your help! You can register for free through the registration button on the right. You will be provided meals from Vital Kitchen and an awesome t-shirt! We are looking for passionate people that can help us run an awesome show!

Refund Policy
No refunds.

Substitutes
Substitutes allowed until release of any event details. Once an event has been released, any substitution will result in ineligibility to collect prizes or podium

Parking
Large empty lot across the street. Fenced in lot marked for Axelrad Beer garden. Get Directions!

Standards
The following “standards” are simply recommendations on movements and loading that both you and your teammate should be able to do for reps in order to complete required work in respective divisions. These are NOT all the movements that will be in the competition. See www.midsummermelee.com for more details.

  • INTERMEDIATE
    In general, we assume that an “intermediate” athlete can perform at least 90% of all Games Open workouts as prescribed, regardless of performance/score.
  • Clean, 155/105
    Thruster, 115/75
    DB Snatch 50/35
    Wall Ball, 20/14
    Snatch, 95/65
    Deadlift, 225/155
    Toes-To-Bar
    Chest-to-Bar

  • SCALED
    In general, we assume that a “scaled” athlete can perform ’s 9 Foundational Movements with consistent proficiency.

    Sit-ups & Hanging knee raises
