***STANDARDS FOR SYNCRO***

DEADLIFT: This is a traditional deadlift with the hands outside of the knees. Sumo deadlifts are not allowed. Starting at the floor together, the athletes lift the barbell until their hips and knees reach full extension with their shoulders behind the bar. The arms must be straight throughout the entire movement. For the syncro deadlift to cound, both athletes need to have the barbell on the ground at the same time and be at full extension at the same time.

T2B/K2C: In the T2B, the athletes must go from a full hang to having the toes touch the pull-up bar. At the start of each rep the arms must be fully extended with the feet off the ground and the feet brought back behind the bar and behind the body. The rep is credited when both feet come into contact with the bar at the same time inside the hands. For a Syncro T2B, both athletes' feet must touch the bar at the same time. Same syncro standard applies for the K2C, however, only the athletes' knees must be above the height of their hips at the same time.

DB Clean: The dumbells begin on the ground, outside or inside the athlete's feet. One head of each of the dumbbells is required to touch the floor each rep. A muscle clean, power clean, or squat clean may be used, as long as the dumbbells come up to the shoulders in one motion, the hips and knees are fully extended, the feet are in line, and the rear head of the dumbbell is clearly over or slightly behind the center of the athlete's body. For the Syncro DB Clean to count, both athletes must have the DB on the ground at the same time, and must be locked out at the top at the same time.

Pull-ups: This is a standard chin-over-bar pull-up. Dead hang, kipping, or butterfly pull-ups are allowed as long as all the requirements are met. The athlete's arms must be fully extended at the bottom, with feet off the ground. There will be NO tape allowed on the bars, but gymnastic grips are allowed. For the syncro pull-up to count, both athletes must have their chins over the bar at the same time.  For the jumping pull-ups, both athletes need to be locked out with arms extended at the bottom at the same time

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

Athlete 1

3:00 AMRAP:

5 Sumo Deadlift High Pull (115/75)(75/55)

5 Burpee over the bar

*Then 1:00 Rest*

4:00 to find 1RM Snatch

*Then 1:00 Rest*

Athlete 2

3:00 AMRAP:

5 Sumo Deadlift High Pull (115/75)(75/55)

5 Burpee over the bar

*Then 1:00 Rest*

4:00 to find 1RM Clean & Jerk

Each rep of the amrap = 1 lbs added to total weight.

Score is:

Heaviest successful snatch + Heaviest successful clean & jerk + combined reps from AMRAP.

For example.

A1 does 40 reps during amrap and has 150lbs snatch

A2 does 50 reps during amrap and has 205 clean & jerk

Total score = 445lbs

Athletes can do either power or squat movements, normal Snatch and Clean & Jerk standards apply. Either male or female can start, that decision is up to the individual team.

This is done on a 17:00 running clock. Athlete 1 will finish amrap and snatch before athlete 2 starts their amrap and clean & Jerk.

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

For total Reps:

Athlete 1 :90 ME Cals Assault Bike
