Event description

Didn't have time to commit to a whole season? You can now register a team to compete just in the Playoffs! 

HOW'S IT SCORED?

  • Teams that have taken part in the season will have a ranking (score) for 'event 1' of playoffs (the season) 
    • This will give them a 1-6 point leading going into playoffs
  • Teams that register for just playoffs (via competition corner) will come into playoffs with 0 points 
  • Playoffs will consist of (minimum) 3 qualifier events (and 4+ scores)
  • The top 2 teams in each division will compete in a head to head final at playoffs

HOW DO I REGISTER?

  • Price: $320 for a team of 6-8 Athletes
    • Includes promo code for FFL shirt/tanks for $15

    • Season avg stats will be released and posted prior to registration open. Please ensure your team average fits the approopriate level of the season!

Scoring: For Repetitions: Less is Better

Event 1 is the season ranking for the teams that took part. 

Teams that did not take part in the season will start 1 event behind in points total. 

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Tiebreaker: Fastest (single) Time

Minimum 4 athletes must complete the floater workout (2 Males & 2 Females) 

With a running clock...

  • At 0:00
    • 30 / 20 Calories Assault Bike for time
  • At 3:00
    • 30 / 20 Calories Assault bike for time 

SCORE:

  • ATHLETE: Total seconds of both of the athletes times combined...
  • TEAM: The BEST & WORST scores combined by any athletes from that team who attempted 

FLOW

  • Utilizing a running clock & a hand timer, at 3, 2, 1 go the athlete will begin 30 / 20 calorie sprint for time 
  • The judge will stop the hand timer to record the time of the first sprint 
  • Utilizing the running clock / timer, the athlete will begin again at 3:00 
  • The judge will again record the time for the 2nd 30/20 calorie sprint 

STANDARDS

  • A minimum of 4 athletes (2m & 2f) must complete the floater workout
  • Up to 8 athletes (the whole roster) may attempt the floater BUT any athlete who attempts it's time will be utilized for the final score (best & worst by any 2 members of the team) 
  • Only athletes on the official roster may attempt it 

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 15

TEAM OF 4 2 GUYS + 2 GIRLS 

Complete for time (15min cap)
Waterfall style:

  • 20x Squat Clean to Overhead [Rx: 135/95] [Sc: 95/65]
  • 100x CAL Row [Team total]
  • 30x Toe to Bar [Sc: Toe to Ring]

Once the 4th athlete finishes last TTB, go back:

  • 30x Toe to Bar [Sc: Toe to Ring]
  • 100x CAL Row [Team total]
  • 20x Ground to Overhead [Rx: 135/95] [Sc: 95/65]

SCORE: Final Time OR total reps completed 

STANDARDS:

  • Squat clean to overhead must pass through the squat but is note required to be a fluid motion
    • Power clean + thruster is allowed as long as the bar touches the ground between reps 
  • CAL Row is a team total - only the 4th athlete must ensure all 100 cals are completed 
  • Toe to bar & toe to ring follow the same standards 
    • feet must pass behind the hands at the top, and touch the bar or go through / touch the rings at the top
  • The ground to overhead do NOT require a squat, any style is accepted 

 

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better | Tiebreaker: Line Touches

A team of 2 athletes (2x F then 2x M) will perform 2 rounds of: 

  • :45s for max lateral line touches 
  • :60 to attempt a max lift: 
    • Rx: Power Snatch + Hang Squat Snatch
    • Scaled: 2x Hang Snatch 

Follwed by a 2:00 rest while their partner does the same

FLOW

  • At 3, 2, 1 go the first athlete will begin :45s of line touches while the 2nd athlete loads / preps the bar
    • each touch will add +1lb to their lift total 
  • At :45 the athlete will rest for :15
  • at 1:00 the first athlete will have 1 minute to make as many attempts as they'd like at the lift 
  • at 2:00 the first athlete will stop / rest / reload bar while the 2nd athlete begins line touches 
  • Each athlete will complete this twice 

SCORE:

  • Combined total of the heaviest lifts made + 1lb for every line touch completed

STANDARDS

  • For the line touches, the athletes hand must contact the ground / line for the point to count - this includes the center line 
  • For the lift: Athletes may increase or decrease weight in any order and make as many attempts as they'd like within the :60 window 
  • The lift must be COMPLETED before the :60 is up (not started) 
  • Power snatch begins from the floor and the bar may not touch the ground before the hang squat snatch
  • The athlete must pass below paralell for the squat, a power snatch + overhead squat is acceptable

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better | Tiebreaker: Line Touches

A team of 2 athletes (2xM) will perform 2 rounds of: 

  • :45s for max lateral line touches 
  • :60 to attempt a max lift:

Amrap in 12 minutes.
With 1 athlete working on the floor at a time:

  • 5, 10, 15, 20...
  • Dumbbell Burpee Snatch
    • [Rx: 50/35] [Sc: 35/20]
  • Dumbbell & Kettlebell Box Step Over [24/20/16"]
    • [Rx: 50lb + 24kg / 35lb + 16kg]
    • [Sc: 35lb + 16kg / 25lb + 12kg]
  • Kettlebell Swing
    • [Rx: 24/16kg]
    • [Sc: 16/12kg]

SCORE: Total reps compelted

FLOW:

  • Only 1 athlete may be 'on the floor' at a time, the rest must be behind the line / touching the wall
    • The working athlete may switch at any time
  • The first athlete will step out and complete 5 burpee DB Snatch, after the completion of the final rep they may return to tag a 2nd athlete, or continue to the next movement 
  • They will take the dumbbell to the next 'grid' and pickup the appropriate KB and begin doing box step overs 
  • After the completion of the step overs, the athlete must take the appropriate KB to the next 'grid' to perform the swings 
  • After the completion of the first round of 5 swings they will then begin again on the burpee DB snatch performing 10 reps of each movement 

STANDARDS

  • Burpee DB Snatch is a burpee beside (not on) their DB, followed by a Dumbbell snatch
    • There is no requirement to switch arms 
    • The chest must touch the ground, not the DB 
  • DB+KB Step over requires the athletes to have the appropriate kb & db in their hands 
    • Nothing may touch the top of the box except the athletes feet
    • Full extension on top is not required
    • A rep is completed when both of the athletes feet touch down on the opposite side 
  • KB Swing - the ball of the KB must be directly above the athletes head & torso 
    • Straight arms are required at the bottom of the swing but not at the top 
    • The bell must break the vertical plane of the body of the athlete to count 

NOTE:

  • It is up to the athlete on the floor to ensure they have the right weight / tools at each 'grid' to complete the work 

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

Alternating male & female, each athlete will attempt to move as much weight as possible:

  • :60 Hand over hand seated sled pull

Straight into 

  • :60 min with any athlete pulling 

SCORE

The team with the most weight stacked on their side

  • Every 5lbs = 1s head start into the final (:30 max) 

FLOW

  • Each team may only have 2 athletes on either side at any time 
  • Every minute the athlete pulling the sled will switch (4 minutes total) 
  • 2 Athletes will be on the other side to load weight onto the sled 
  • 1 athlete will unload weights for the puller & ensure they stay stacked on their side 
  • Athletes may switch positions at any time (except the athlete pulling) 
  • After 4 minutes and all 4 athletes have pulled; bonus minute where any athletes may pull (1 at a time) 

STANDARDS

  • If the sled is touched when being pulled it must be emptied and weights returned 
  • Any weights that fall off must be returned
  • If the sled is in the middle when athletes switch, the next athlete must finish or re-set the sled 
  • Plates must be maintained in organized stacks (by weight)

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

The transiton between A & B will be as quick as possible
In this time, the teams may switch out 2 athletes

TEAM

  • 2 Males and 2 Female will work as a team with 1 athlete working at a time

Note: The start of this event will be delayed by 1s for every rep behind the 2nd place team is after Final A1&2 - WINNER TAKES ALL

  • 600/450m Row 
  • 40x Alternating DB Snatch
    • [Rx: 60/45] [Sc: 40/30]
  • Double Unders 
    • [Rx: 3x 33 UB] [Sc: 100]  
  • 20x Hang Clean & Jerk 
    • [Rx: 135/95] [Sc: 95/65]
  • 10/6x Ring Muscle Ups 
    • [Sc: 20/15 Ring Pullups]
  • 40x Deadlifts 
    • [Rx: 135/95] [Sc: 95/65]
  • 40x Single Arm DB S2OH
    • [Rx: 60/45] [Sc: 40/30]
  • 60'x SA DB Overhead Walking Lunge
    • [Rx: 60/45] [Sc: 40/30]

Each athlete must complete all of the reps of 2 movements.

If the athlete is unable to complete all the reps and swtiches, the new athlete begins that movement from 0


FLOW

  • All Athletes will begin behind the turf
  • At 3, 2, 1, go the first athlete will leave the wall to complete the Row, once completed they may continue to complete the DB Snatch (then they're done) or they may return to the team and tag in a second athlete
  • The second athlete will go out to complete the next movement, if it is their first movement they may stay out and complete another, or go back and tag an athlete
  • Each athlete is only allowed to (and must) complete 2 of the movements, and will complete all of the reps of that movement
  • If an athlete is unable to complete all of the reps, they may tag another athlete but the new athlete will begin at 0

SCORE

  • Due to the delayed start, the first team to complete the final movement is the winner

STANDARDS

  • All movements follow typical movement standards.
  • Double under sets must be complete unbroken and the athlete must stop between sets, a broken set goes back to 0
  • 1 Arm DB overhead Walking lunges will be performed walking back and forth in 20' lengths
    • athletes must show full extension at the top of each rep, and must touch their feet side by side at the top of each rep
  • Hang clean & Jerk must be stood to extension BEFORE performing the hang clean 
    • Anytime the bar touches the ground, the athlete must complete a deadlift before beginning the hang rep
  • Ring pullups follow typical standards of a kipping pullup but the athletes chin must be above the base of the rings 
  • DB S2OH may use any arm - the athlete must show control at the top of each rep
