Event description

There are NO REFUNDS. Transfers may be made with the approval of Wonder Promotions and Events and only through Wonder Promotions and Events. 

Free parking is located behind the facility in a YMCA parking garage and there is parking on the street. Pets, alcohol, and smoking are prohibited. 

Because our CrossFit space is located inside the Dowd YMCA, all YMCA rules and regulations apply. Athletes and spectators will need to wear a wristband for admission into the facility.

There are 3 divisions for this competition: Firebreathers, Beast Mode, and Hard Chargers. See workout details to determine your appropriate division. 

Firebreathers should be able to perform:

Front Squats 135/95, Russian KBS 28/24kg, Dumbbell Snatch 50/35#, Box Jump Overs 24"/20", Toes to Bar.

Beast Modes should be able to perform:

Front Squats 95/65, America KBS 24/16kg, Dumbbell Snatch 35/25#, Box Step Overs 24"/20", Scaled Toes to Bar - Knees Up with 20/14# Wall Ball.

Hard Chargers should be able to perform:

Front Squats 75/55, Russian KBS 16/12kg, Dumbbell Snatch 25/15#, Box Step Overs 20"/20", Scaled Toes to Bar - Knees Up.

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

Team will have 10 minutes to each establish a 1 rep max for a shoulder to overhead lift. Barbell may come from the rack and the lift will be from the front rack position, no behind the neck.

One barbell and one person works at a time. Score is the total maxes.

2 minute rest and team will move on to Part B

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

Team will take 60% of the heaviest 1RM from Part A and each member will have 1 minute to complete as many shoulder to overheads as possible. Lift may come from the rack and the S2O will be from the front rack position, no behind the neck.

Partner A will have 1 minute to complete as many reps as possible of S2O. Then Partner B will have 1 miute to complete as many reps as possible of S2O. 

Score will be the total reps of Partner A and Partner B.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 22

Team must complete the following:

2,000 meter row (Partners switch every 500 meters)

60 Calories on Assault Bike (Partners switch every 10 calories)

Run 1 mile (Partners switch every 2 laps. 1 mile is 13 laps)
