Didn't have time to commit to a whole season? You can now register a team to compete just in the Playoffs!

HOW'S IT SCORED?

  • Teams that have taken part in the season will have a ranking (score) for 'event 1' of playoffs (the season) 
    • This will give them a 1-6 point leading going into playoffs
  • Teams that register for just playoffs (via competition corner) will come into playoffs with 0 points 
  • Playoffs will consist of (minimum) 3 qualifier events (and 4+ scores)
  • The top 2 teams in each division will compete in a head to head final at playoffs

Scoring: For Repetitions: Less is Better

Event 1 is the season ranking for the teams that took part. 

Teams that did not take part in the season will start 1 event behind in points total.

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better | Tiebreaker: Heaviest Female Score

HOLD THE YOKE!

Each team gets 4 attempts only (2 males & 2 females, one per athlete). Only the top male & top female weight from each team will count towards their score: 

  • Max weight Yoke hold for :30s

SCORE

  • The top male & top female weight will be combined for your teams score

FLOW

  • This is a floater event and can be completed at any time after 9:00AM and before the end of the semi final event. 
  • Each team only gets 4 attempts, 2 men and 2 women. 
  • A team only NEEDS 1 male and 1 female score, so it is not required for all 4 athletes to make an attempt
  • Each athlete may get two 'test' reps before beginning their attempt
    • test rep: stand up the yoke and hold for <3s 
    • They may adjust the weight after their test reps

STANDARDS

  • Yoke must be clearly off the ground
  • if any part of it touches at any time then the clock is stopped 
  • The empty yoke (and minimum score) is 185lbs 

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 15

Waterfall style 1 athlete at a time. 

  • 50x CAL Assault Bike DAM [team]
  • 20x Alternating DB Snatch (50/35 lb) [each] 
  • 60x CAL Row DAM [team] 
  • 20x Wallballs (20/14) [each]

After the 4th athlete completes 20 Wallballs, go back:

  • 30x Wallballs [each]
  • 80 CAL Row Dam [team] 
  • 30x Alternating DB Snatch (50/35 lb) [each] 
  • 70 CAL Assault Bike DAM [team]

Score: Final time

Flow

  • The first athlete will begin on the bikeand row as many calories as they choose (minimum 1)
  • Once that athlete moves to the dumbbells, the next athlete may get on the bike & continue the calorie total
  • Once the first athlete has completed all 15 dumbbell snatch, they may move to the rower to complete as many calories as they choose 
  • The 4th athlete must complete ALL remaining calories on the assault bike and rower before moving forward (so plan ahead!)
  • Once the 4th athlete has completed the 15th wallball, the team will make their way back
  • The team may go back in any order they choose 

Movement Standards

  • Dumbbell Snatch must alternate reps, with both sides of the dumbbell touching the ground, the hand may do anything 
  • Wallballs will be completed with a bum ball

The team with the highest combined snatch total wins the TRULOCAL Prize Pack!

The first heat of swing'n snatch is for 2 women on each team, the men can use this time to warmup. Men's & women's scores will be scored as 2 seperate events. 

SWING'N SNATCH

Each athlete will have 4 attempts at:

  • :30 for max Kettlebell Swings (24/16kg)
  • :30 for max weight: 
    • 1x Power Clean+ 1x Hang Squat Clean

Followed by a 1 minute rest (while the 2nd athlete goes) 

SCORE

Score: Heaviest weight successfully lifted + total reps KB Swing (lbs + reps) 

FLOW

  • At 3, 2, 1 go.. the first athlete will complete as many kettlebell swings as possible
  • After :30 the athlete will have :30 to perform (as may attempts as they'd like) at the Clean complex 
  • The Clean rep must be fully completed before the end of the :30
  • At 1:00 mark, the 2nd athlete will begin their :30s of KB Swings
  • During this time the 1st athlete may adjust the bar weight for the other athlete 
  • Alternate this way until both athletes have completed 4 rounds each

STANDARDS

  • Kettlebell Swing: The kettlebell must be swing to, or above, forehead height. The judge must be able to fully and clearly see the athletes eyes under the kettlebell
  • Clean complex: The first rep will be power from the ground, the 2nd rep may not touch the ground and the athlete must pass through a squat. A power Clean + overhead squat will be accepted.

CONSCIOUS COOKIE CO 

The top time for this event will get 8x cookies from Conscious Cookie Co for their team! 

A team of 4 athletes, 2 male and 2 female will complete for time: 

  • 40 - 30 - 20 - 10 reps 
    • Burpee Dumbbell Snatch (50/35) 
    • Box Jump over (30/24") 
    • Hang Snatch (m) / Clean (f) (85lb)
    • Toe to Bar OR Ring

SCORE 

Fastest team to complete all the reps, or most reps compelted before the time cap. 

FLOW

  • The team will start at the wall 
  • At 3, 2, 1 go ONE athlete may leave the wall to begin the set of 40 burpee DB snatch 
  • The athlete may complete as many (or as few) reps as they like, they will then return to the wall to tag in the next athlete
  • The next athlete will continue that movement if the reps have not been completed, or begin on the next movement 
  • Once the team has completed the 40th TTB/R they will return to the start and begin on 30 burpee DB snatch
  • NEW: The team MUST rotate through athletes in the same order! 
    • an athlete may run out, touch the equipment, and return (a rep is not required) but they cannot be skipped at any time

STANDARDS

  • 3 members of the team must be standing within reach of their wall or behind their designated line at all times 
  • The DB Burpee Snatch begins with the athletes chest touching the ground, and ends with the dumbbell in extension above their head.
    • The movement may be completed as a CJ
    • The athlete may get the DB to extension any way as long as only 1 hand touches the DB at any time 
    • The athlete is not reqired to switch hands 
  • Box jump overs require a 2 foot take off & landing, but do not require extension on top of the box. Only the athletes feet may touch the top of the box. 
  • Men will perform a hang snatch, women will perform a hang clean - both using a ladies barbell 
  • The rep begins after the athlete has reach extension (stand up first) and ends when the hips and knees are open and the barbell is extended overhead (snatch) or the athletes elbows pass beyond the bar (clean) 
  • Men and women have the choice to do toe to bar (faster) OR toe to ring (easier)
    • The athlete cannot change movements within their set

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

Alternating male & female, each athlete will attempt to move as much weight as possible:

- :60 Hand over hand seated sled pull

Straight into 

- 2 min with any athlete pulling 

SCORE

The team with the most weight stacked on their side

- Every 5lbs = 1s head start into the final (:30 max) 

FLOW

- Each team may only have 2 athletes on either side at any time 
- Every minute the athlete pulling the sled will switch (4 minutes) 
- 2 Athletes will be on the other side to load weight onto the sled 
- 1 athlete will unload weights for the puller & ensure they stay stacked on their side 
- Athletes may switch positions at any time (except the athlete pulling) 
- After 4 minutes and all 4 athletes have pulled;
 - bonus minute where any athletes may pull (1 at a time) 

STANDARDS

- If the sled is touched when being pulled it must be emptied and weights returned 
- any weights that fall off must be returned
- If the sled is in the middle when athletes switch, the next athlete must finish or re-set the sled 
- Plates must be maintained in organized stacks (by weight)

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

2 Males and 2 Female will work as a team with 1 athlete working at a time

For Time:

- 30/20x CAL assault
- 4 Lengths Lunge (any style) (135/95)
- 30x Back Squats (from rack) (155/115)
- 30x Axel Bar Deadlift (145/105)
- 20x Handstand Pushups (rx / 1 abmat)
- 3x 20 UB Double Unders
- 20/15x DB Box step overs (2x 50/35lb) @ 20"
- 12x Bar Muscle up or 24x Chest to bar or 36x Rx Pullups

FLOW

- The start of this event will be delayed by 1s for every 5lbs moved (up to :30) 
- Each athlete must complete all of the reps of 2 movements.
- If the athlete is unable to complete all the reps and swtiches, the new athlete begins that movement from 0

- All Athletes will begin inside the 'weight box'
- At 3, 2, 1, go the first athlete will complete the bike, they may continue to the lunges or return to the team and tag in a second athlete
- The second athlete will go out to complete the next movement, if it is their first movement they may stay out and complete another, or go back and tag an athlete
- Each athlete is only allowed to complete 2 of the movements, and will complete all of the reps of that movement

SCORE

Due to the delayed start, the first team to complete the final movement is the winner

STANDARDS

- All movements follow typical movement standards.
- Double under sets must be complete unbroken and the athlete must stop between sets, a broken set goes back to 0
- walking lunges are by distance, not steps
 - the athlete must show extension between every rep with the feet touching side by side 
 - Lunges may be any style (front / back / overhead) 
- Pullups the athlete must pick one movement and complete all the reps in that
- Dumbbell step overs nothing may touch the top of the box except the athletes feet, extension is not required
- Handstand pushups begin and end with extension of the arms & feet at shoulder width
