Battle of the Gyms by AKI Fitness
in association with Dubai CrossFit Championship.

Calling all gyms! Welcome to the ultimate CrossFit competition with a chance to win the crown of Dubai's Fittest Gym.

The winning team will receive prizes from brands such as:

AKI Fitness, Concept2, Assault Fitness, Hyperice, 5.11 and many more.

Each team must consist of two men and two women.

Teams are limited to two coaches Male/Female, and two members Male/Female.

All team members must be available to compete for the entirety of the 2-day event.

Event entry is free. 

- Athlete substitutions are not permitted after the start of the event.

- All athletes will receive complimentary access to Dubai CrossFit Championship events.

- Paid Parking is available at Irish Village, Garhoud.

- Event organisers reserve the rights to take any action deemed necessary in the case of foul play.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 15

300m assault runner

20 box jump over (30/24)

20 hand release pushups

20 pull-ups


All work completed with a Weight Vest (20/14lbs), performed in waterfall style.

Each athlete may only move forward when the person ahead has completed the station ahead and moved to the next station. 

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

4 min max Assault Bike calories

Two women perform max calories in 4 min

 2 min transition 

Two men perform max calories in 4 min

The score is the total calories of both pairs.

 

 

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

4 min Max reps Snatch (50kg/35kg)

Two men complete max reps at 50kgs in 4 min.

2 min transition

Two women complete max reps at 35kgs in 4 min.

The score is the combined number of reps of both pairs.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 10

500m Row Relay

Each team member completes a 500m time trial.

The score is total time to complete 2000m as a team.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 20

100 Double Under's, 15 Deadlift (85kg), 6 bar muscle up
100 Double Unders, 12 Deadlift (105kg), 9 bar muscle up
100 Double Under’s, 9 Deadlift (120kg), 12 bar muscle up
100 Double Under’s, 6 Deadlift (140kgs), 15 bar muscle up

 

Each team member will complete one full round. 

When the round is complete athlete must run back to start and tag next team member. The workout is complete when all rounds are complete and all team members are back in starting position.
