TFX Crossfit is excited to be hosting the 2nd annual Winter War Games at The Fort. This team competition is going to be awesome and one you will not want to miss! Athletes will compete in 4 WODS over the course of the day that will for sure test your overall fitness! Grab your partner and sign up as soon as possible!

Location: Spanish Fort, Alabama
Date: Februray 16,2019
Teams of 2 - Male/Male, Female/Female, or Male/Female
Will consist of a Rx, scaled and teen division
Price: $150/per team - No refunds; then after January 21st there is a price increase of $200/per team.

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

8 minute Strength:

1 RM Snatch

1 RM Clean & Jerk

  • As a team, you have 8 minutes to find a 1 RM Snatch and 1 RM Clean & Jerk. 
  • One partner will perform the sntach and one partner will perform the C&J.
  • Only one partner can work at a time.
  • Score is total combined weight from heaviest sucessful lifts.

For example: Partner A snatches 100# and Partner B C&J 100#, their score equals 200#.

All movement standards will be reviewed the day of the event.

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better | Tiebreaker: Time after the completion of Burpees

AMRAP 15 minutes:

RX:

100 calorie Ski

80 Deadlifts (225#/155#)

60 Lateral Burpees over the Bar

40 HSPU

Scaled & Teen:

100 calorie Ski

80 Deadlifts (155#/95#)

60 Lateral Burpees over the Bar

40 HRPU (Hand released push ups)

 

One partner works at a time and reps may be partitioned as you wish. 

If a team completes the 40 HSPU or HRPU before 15 minutes, then the team restarts the next round at the ski.

Score equals the amount of rounds and/or reps completed in 15 minutes.

All movement standards will be reviewed the day of the event.

Floater WOD!

Rx:

2-minutes per partner (4 minutes total)

Scaled/Teen:

2-minutes per partner (4 minutes total)

20 Jumping Pull-ups

Partner A will start the 20 C2B pull-ups or jumping pull ups, once completed, the athlete will start the max calories on the bike until the 2 minute mark, then Partner B will start the 20 C2B or jumping pull ups and the max calories on the bike.

The score equals the total combined calories from the bike.

All movement standards will be reviewed the day of the event.

 

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better | Tiebreaker: End of the 2nd round (after the last T2B/KTC)

AMRAP 8 Minutes

Rx:

20 Walls Balls (30#/20#)

10 Partner Plank Burpees

20 TTB

Scaled and Teens:

20 Walls Balls (20#/14#)

10 Partner Plank Burpees

20 KTC

Partners alternate movements; one partner must complete the set of reps of a particular movement before the other partner starts the next movement.

For example: Partner A starts at the wall balls, once complete, partner A then drops to a plank and partner B starts the burpees over partner A, once completed, partner A starts the T2B/KTC to complete one (1) round. To start the second round partner B starts the wall balls.  

Athlete must hit the appropriate wall ball target and squat pass parallel to be a successful rep.

Plank starts when the partner starts the burpees and plank must be performed on the elbows/forearms.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 15 | Tiebreaker: Time after completion of 40 GHD or ambit sit ups
