We are very excited to be hosting Winterfest 2016 back at Blue Mountain Resort in Blue Mountain Ontario.

Blue Mountain has always been known as the premier ski and snowboard destination in Ontario, with its proximity to Toronto (90 min) and various terrains. A busy winter weekend could see upwards of 15,000 people visit the village for some fun in the snow. The village is full of stores to shop in, as well as plenty of restaurants and pubs to keep us properly fueled between workouts.

We will be utilizing some of the natural terrain that Blue has to offer, as well as an indoor space.

How to register your team:

  1. Choose a Team Captain, Team Captain should have their team members email addresses ready.
  2. Team Captain registers and pays for your team.
  3. Team Members will receive an invitation to join the team after the Team Captain completes registration.

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

1 RM Thruster Team will have 5:00 per co-ed mixed pairs to find their team total Thruster weight.

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

DB Snatch/Burpees Co-ed mixed pairs will work in sync to complete AMRAP in 5:00 of the following: 2-4-6-8-10-12-14….etc. Alternating DB Snatch Semi-Pro @55/35 Amateur @35/20 Burpee Plate Hops

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

Working in pairs for 3mins. Pair 1: first person will perform a crucifix hold for 1:30. The other athlete will row for cals. If the athlete drops the weights in the crucifix hold, the other must stop rowing. Partners switch at 1:30. Pair 2: first person will hold an atlas stone above their waste, while the second one pull for cals on the Ski erg. they switch at 1:30. The scoring for this is total cals.

Barbell Complex Teams will work in co-ed mixed pairs to complete the following barbell complex for 7:00 AMRAP each pair. 2:00 Transition between pairs. Each pair will alternate each round of: 5 Hang Power Cleans 5 Shoulder to Overhead Semi-Pro @115/75 Amateur @95/65

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better | Tiebreaker: Completion Time
