Onsite Competition for Teams

Event description

CrossFit Fort Worth East is proud to announce our 1st Annual Competition Event this Fall. The Comp will be 1 Male & 1 Female per 2 person team and will be 3 wods with 1 Floater wod for necessary tie breakers.

There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes with podium photos for each team winner in both RX and Scaled division which will be announced after the Competition is over.

The first 12 teams to sign up receive a competition T-shirt so hurry before those are snatched. 

Check-in times will be from 7:30am-8:30am and movement briefing will start at 8:35am. We will have a waiver that is mandatory for each individuals to fill out the morning of.

We love pets but please keep them at home for this Competition.

WOD 1

AMRAP

*50 Box Jumps 

(Both partners will using a 24" box with full extension at the top. Step ups are acceptable)

*40 Burpee over partner 

(Partner A will hold a elbow plank so partner B can jump over to finish the burpee over partner. If Partner A comes out of the plank while Partner B jumps over, it is a no rep. You must be in a plank for the rep to count.)

*30 Thrusters

(Male partner weight is 95# and female partner weight is 75#. There will be 2 bars set out for this wod. You must have full arm extension at the top to finish the lift. A no rep will be given if you pause in a clean.)

*20 Chest to Bars

(You may split these however you like)

*10 Handstand Pushups

(One partner may do all or teams may split the reps. While Partner A does hspu, Partner B holds a handstand. If Partner B falls out of their handstand hold while partner A does their hspu's, it will count as a no rep. You must be in a handstand hold for the rep to count.)

WOD 2

*Buy In- 1,000 meter row 

(Both will row on level 6 and can split how you like)

4 Rounds

*25 Wallball Situps facing Partner

(20# ball will be used for RX with a 45# weight in between for measurement apart from your partner. You will toss the ball to your partner to count as 1 rep.)

*200 meter Buddy Carry

(Each partner must split the meters at 100 meters each. RX must fireman carry on shoulders.)

WOD 3

AMRAP

*Partner A- 400 meter run

*Partner B- (Amrap) Hang Power Clean & Jerk 

(Men's weight is 115# and women's is 85#. Partner A runs while Partner B lifts at the same time. When Partner A comes in from their run, both switch once and perform the opposite of what they just did.)(Score is reps of hang power clean and jerks.)

One Round Each Partner

*Partner A- 400 meter run

*Partner B- (Amrap) DU's

(Partner A runs while Partner B does DU's at the same time. When Partner A comes in from their run, both switch once and perform the opposite of what they just did.) (10 DU's equals 1 point for scoring)

*Partner A- 400 meter run

*Partner B- (Amrap) Burpees

(Partner A runs while Partner B does burpees at the same time. When Partner A comes in from their run, both switch once and perform the opposite of what they just did.) (5 burpees equals 1 point for scoring)

WOD 1

AMRAP

*50 Box Jumps

(Both partners will using a 20" box with full extension at the top. Step ups are acceptable.) 

*40 Burpees Over Partner

(Partner A will hold an elbow plank so Partner B can jump over to complete the burpee over partner. If Partner A comes out of the plank while Partner B jumps over, it is a no rep. You must be in a plank for the rep to count.)

*30 Thrusters

(Male partner weight is 65# and female partner weight is 45#. There will be 2 bars set out for this wod. You must have full extension at the top to finish the lift. A no rep will be given if you pause in a clean.)

*20 Jumping Chest to Bars

(If need be, you may stand on a box and jump up in order for your chest to touch the bar.)

*10 Pike Pushups 

(You may split these however you please.)

*25 Wallball Situps Facing Partner

(14# ball will be used for Scaled with a 45# weight in between for measurement apart from your partner. You must toss the ball to your partner from your situp and so forth. 1 toss equals 1 rep)

*200 Meter Buddy Carry

(Each partner must split the meters at 100 meters each. Scaled must piggyback carry their partner.)

(Men's weight is 95# and womens 65#. Partner A runs while Prtner B lifts at the same time. When Partner A comes in from their run, both switch once and perform the opposite of what they just did.)(Score is reps of hang power clean and jerks.)

*Partner A- 400 meter run

*Partner B- (AMRAP) Single Unders

(Partner A runs while Partner B does DU's at the same time. When Partner A comes in from their run, both switch once and perform the opposite of what they just did.) (20 single unders equals 1 point.)

*Partner A- 400 meter run

*Partner B- (Amrap) Burpees

(Partner A runs while Partner B does burpees at the same time. When Partner A comes in from thier run, both switch once and perform the opposite of what they just did.)(5 burpees equals 1 point.)
