Event description

We welcome you to NORCE FACE/OFF 2018 – A functional fitness competition like no other!

RX and Intermediate teams consisting of 1 male and 1 female athlete will battle for the top spot, cool cash and sponsor gifts.

These are the four stages of NORCE FACE/OFF:

>> 2. QUALIFIERS: Done
>> 3. MAIN EVENT (DAY 1)

Day 1: September 15th

Athlete time-table:
0700 - 0730: Athelte check-in (please be on time)
0730 - 0800: Timing chip hand-out
0800 - 0815: Briefing
0820: Bus departure (Intermediate)
0840: Bus departure (RX)

Day 2: September 16th

The top teams from Day 1 will go head to head.

Scoring: For Repetitions: Less is Better

Carry over from qualifiers

Finishing overall first in the qualifiers equals an event win (100p) - finishing second overall equals a 2nd place finish (94p) etc.

The number of 'reps' is the equivalent to the finishing position at the qualifiers leaderboard (less is better).

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 60

200m D-ball carry (70/50kg)
500m swim
3200m run

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

FOR WEIGHT | Ladder style event

In a :50s window both athletes will perform:

1 Snatch + 1 Clean + 1 Jerk

For each succesful lift the athletes will receive;
3 points for Snatch
2 points for Jerk
1 point for Clean

The athletes will continue to move down the ladder until they are no longer able to clean the given weight.
