Event description

Teams consist of 1 Male, 1 Female.

There is only one division. All Event details will be covered day of event. Also all events except for the final will be announced on Facebook at Spooky Throwndown Event page at BoneYard CrossFit. Link below

If you register after 9 October, 2018 a shirt is not guaranteed.

May substitute athlete if athlete is not able to attend. Will not be able to change shirt size.

Bring whatever CrossFit event equipment you require. No pets allowed. 

Parking is located at Rushmore CrossFit. Carpooling is recommended due to parking being limited.

5000m Row

Switch required every 500m

When athletes switch team will accomplish 5 Synchro Burpees

Total: 2500m per athlete and 50 Synchro Burpees per team

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

Event Instructions: Event will begin with Head Judge counting down 3,2,1 GO! On GO! Teams will have 4 minutes to establish 1 Rep Max Clean and Jerk each Athlete has 3 attempts at whatever weight they choose. Weight must be announced to Judge before it is lifted. At the end of 4 minutes athletes will have 3 minutes to rest. During this time Athletes can switch bar weights. At the end of 3 minutes the Head Judge will again announce 3,2,1 GO! To initiate the beginning of the 1 Rep Max Snatch. Same rules that applied to the Clean and Jerk apply to the Snatch. Athletes have three attempts each. Score will be team total Clean and Jerk and total Snatch. Any form of Clean and Jerk and Snatch is allowed.

Synchro Bar-Facing Burpees

Team Deadlift #315

Event Instructions: Event will begin with Head Judge counting down 3,2,1, GO! On GO! Athlete A & B will begin Syncho Bar-Facing Burpees. Once 21 reps are completed Athletes will move to the barbell. Both athletes must hold on to the bar through the full movement. Once 21 reps of the Deadlift are completed athletes will roll the barbell forward to the 15 rep line. Once the bar is in position they can begin their round of 15. Once the 21 reps of Deadlift are completed athletes will roll the barbell forward one last time to the 9 rep line.

Partner holds two 53lb Kettlebells

While Partner A is working Partner B will be holding two 53lb Kettlebells. No minimum work requirement per partner. If Partner drops the Kettlebells rep count will stop. Teams are in charge of changing their own box heights. Teams can switch places as much as they wish.
