Event description

A unique test of fitness offering the opportunity to get out of the gym and display your hard work. Throw down on the farm and experience an event setting similar to the original games held at "The Ranch".      

Teams of 4- 2 Males, 2 Females per team.

2 Divisions- Scaled and Rx

3 Workouts Guarenteed, Top 5 teams in both divisions will compete in a final workout that will be announced on the day of the event. 

Rx Prize Money:

1st- $750

2nd- $500

3rd- $250

Scaled Teams will be competing for gear and prizes.

Division Standards: The expectation is that the combination of team members can meet each of these standards. Not that each member can meet all of the standards.  However, this is and the most well rounded teams will prevail.

* All four team members must have atleast one hand on the rope for the entire 400m run. 

* Only one male and one female may push the bale at any time

* Men and women must carry the weight desiganated to them, each athlete must move their designated weight at the same time(one weight in each hand before moving forward, not one at a time)

* Scaled teams may switch athletes between movements at any time, while abiding by the M/F pair rule

* Rx team athletes must complete 50m of both movements (no switching until the movement is complete)

* The time will stop when all athletes cross the finish line

* The score for this workout will be your total time to complete all the work

* If the work is not completed a 4 second penalty will be added to the time cap for each movement not completed (12:04 will be the score if the time cap is reached and all athletes have not completed the final 400m run)

1 Minute loading period

M/M or F/F pair have 4 Minutes to find 1RM (scaled=Clean and Jerk, Rx=Snatch)

Opposite pair On the rig for the 4 minute window accumulating as many points as possible
(Scaled: 1 Jumping Pull-up= 1pts, 1 Pull-up= 3pts, 1 Chest to Bar= 9pts)

(Rx: 1 Pull-up= 1pts, 1 Chest to Bar= 3pts, 1 Bar Muscle Up= 9pts)

Switch(1 minute loading period)

4 Minutes to find 1RM and accumulate points

*1 pound = 1pt
Score is the combination of all 4 athletes heaviest successful lifts plus the pts accumulated on the rig

* M/M or F/F can start on either the barbell or rig

* all athletes may help load the barbell during the loading period, during this time no points may be accumulated on the rig

* Scaled: Jumping Pull-ups- athletes heads must be a minimum of 6 inches below the pull-up bar.

*scoring example:Rx(example will be same for scaled)

M1- 225# Snatch, M2- 235# Snatch = 460

F1- 20 Chest to Bar, F2- 20 Bar Muscle-up = 240

F1- 185# Snatch, F2- 200# Snatch = 385

M1- 30 Pull-up, M2- 10 Bar Muscle-up = 120

460+240+385+120=1205pts

*In the event of a tie, the team with the heaviest overall succesful lift will place higher for the workout.

*Once the workout has started, teams may NOT switch pairs(keep your partner)

*All work may be divided anyway

*Only one person in each M/F pair may skip at a time

*For a rep to be Synchronized(lifting) the weight must be secured overhead at the same time

* One athlete must maintain a Deadhang while their partner completes reps(knee raises/toes to bar)

*For a rep to be Synchronized(burpee) both athletes must have their chest on the ground at the same time
