Event description

Cyprus Throwdown is a two-day event taking place in the beautiful island of Cyprus on 20th and 21st of October 2018. The event is powered by Cosmos and is taking place for a fourth consecutive year. 380 athletes on various divisions earned their spot in the finals through the online qualifiers.

Minimum of total prizes 16.000 euro.

Workout 18.1 has a 10 minute time cap to complete for time:
9/7 tyre flips jump through
100m swimming
12/9 tyre flips jump through
100m swimming
15/11 tyre flips jump through

There are no division variations in this workout.

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

Workout 18.2 is a 20 mins row for distance.

It will have two parts; 18.2a and 18.2b and each part weights 50% on the total score of the workout 18.2.

Part a is the distance you will cover in the first 4 mins and Part b is the distance you will cover in the total 20 mins.

There are no division variations for this workout.

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

Workout 18.2 is a 20 mins row for distance.

It will have two parts; 18.2a and 18.2b and each part weights 50% on the total score of the workout 18.2.

Part a is the distance you will cover in the first 4 mins and Part b is the distance you will cover in the total 20 mins.

Workout 18.3 has 8 minutes time cap to complete as many repetitions as possible of:

6 thrusters
6 bar muscle ups

18.4 starts in a running clock 2 mins after the completion of 18.3.

18.4 has a 5 minute time cap to complete HEAVY ISABEL - 30 snatches for time.

Any style of snatch is permitted (muscle snatch, power snatch, squat snatch, split snatch).

Workout 18.5 has a 9 minute time cap to complete:
A buy in of 600m run
and the remaining time as many repetitions as possible of:
24 toes to bar
16 single arm dumbbell overhead lunges
8 chest to bar
