Onsite Competition for Teams

Event description

The “Strength of Love” charity event will be a team competition with two workouts (announced prior to the event) and one floater (announced the day of the event).

Teams of three will compete for cash and prizes. Teams may consist of any combination of males and females and must be mixed sex.

Registration is $150 (plus processing fees) per team. No refunds will be issued.

100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Young and Brave Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping today’s youth beat cancer. Donations will also be accepted at the door.

The event will run from 9am until approximately 3:00 pm. After the event there will be an “after party” where food and drink will be available for sale. The gym’s proceeds from these sales will also be donated to the Foundation.

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better

15 minute Time Cap Each partner completes "conga style." 750/650m Row 30 Alternating Pistols (Mod: Lunges) 10 Hang cleans (205/125) (Mod: 135/95) Teammate 1 begins with the Row. Once that person is off the rower, they move onto the pistols/lunges, and teammate 2 can begin the row. Etc..

20 min AMRAP 300 Double Unders (600 singles for MOD) 225 Russian KBS (53/35) (44/26 for MOD) 150 WB (20/14) to a 10' target (14/10 for MOD) 75 Pull-Ups 50 Handstand Push-Ups (Push-ups for MOD) 25 Power Snatches (135/95) (95/65 for MOD) 13 Ring Muscle-Ups (10 for teams w/ 1M and 2F athletes)** (Ring dips for MOD)

Floater 5 min AMRAP Partner Prowler Push/AMRAP plate hop burpees *Partner 1 sits on prowler while partner 2 pushes and partner 3 completes AMRAP plate hop burpees Score = meters pushed + number of burpees
