New Kids In the Box is an all new event specifically for brand new ters across South Western Ontario looking to gain more experience in individual competitions and looking for a challenge to focus their training efforts around to help take their training to the next level. 

This event is specifically geared towards Beginner  athletes and the minimum age is 16. 

Competitors will complete and submit seeding workouts remotely before the event after which they will be placed into heats appropriate to their ability level.

There will be awards given out for both overall and Masters (40+) placing however all athletes will complete the same workouts. 

Space for this event is extremely limited to allow for an extremly high-quality competitor experience for each athlete. As such there are no refunds, however transfers are allowed until two weeks before the event.

Jumping Pullups
Deadlift 135/95
Ground-to-Overhead 95/65
Thruster 75/55

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 12

Five rounds for time of:
15-12-9-6-3 Calorie AirBike
15 Deadlifts
12 Hang Power Clean
9 Shoulder-to-Overhead

Men: 95lb Barbell
Women: 65lb Barbell

Time Cap: 12 Minutes

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

As many reps as possible in 9 minutes of:

21 Med-Ball Clean
7 Burpee Box Over

Men: 30lb Medicine Ball, 24" Box
Women: 20lb Medicine Ball, 20" Box

50 Kettlebell Swings
40 Hanging Leg Raises
30 Hand Release Pushups
20 Thrusters

Women: 25lb Kettlebell, 55lb Barbell
