Event description


The Element Ontario Open is the premier event for ters across South Western Ontario specifically  looking to gain more experience in individual competitions and looking for a challenge to focus their training efforts around to take their training to the next level this spring. 

This event is specifically geared towards Intermediate athletes.

Competitors will complete and submit seeding workouts remotely before the event after which they will be placed into heats appropriate to their ability level.

Space for this event is extremely limited to allow for an extremly high-quality competitor experience for each athlete. As such there are no refunds, however transfers are allowed until two weeks before the event. 

Minimum Athlete Requirements
Squat Snatch / Overhead Squat 95/65
Squat Clean & Jerk 135/95
Thruster 95/65

Scoring: For Repetitions: More is Better

As many reps as possible in 12 minutes of:
AMRAP 0:00-4:00
6 Wallballs
9 Bar-Facing Burpee
12 Ground-to-Overhead 75/55

AMRAP 4:00 - 8:00
9 Wallballs
9 Bar-Facing Burpee
9 Ground-to-Overhead 95/65

AMRAP 8:00 - 12:00
12 Wallballs
9 Bar-Facing Burpee
6 Ground-to-Overhead 145/95

Men use 20lb Wallball to 10ft target
Women use 14lb Wallball to 10ft target

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 7

For time:
72 Double Unders
27 Toes-to-Bar

27 Pullups
72 Double Unders

Time Cap: 7 Minutes

400m MedBall Sprint

Scoring: For Time: Fastest is Better | Time Cap: 15

Six rounds for time of:
10/7 Calorie Row
5 Dumbbell Hang Clean & Jerk Left Arm 
10 Dumbbell Box Step Overs
5 Dumbbell Hang Clean & Jerk Right Arm

Men: Use a single 50lb Dumbbell and 24" Box
Women: Use a single 35lb Dumbbell and 20" Box

Note: Event 3a - Max Clean - is to be completed from 5:00 - 10:00 in the running clock from workout 3. 

Scoring: For Weight: Heavier is Better

1 Rep Max Clean

Clean is anyway.

Athletes have from 5:00 - 10:00 in Event 3 to find a 1 RM Clean.
